00:27A total life will be added to us when we seek ye first the kingdom of heaven.
00:34Ah, Lord, you're awesome. Lord, you're mighty. Help us, God, to seek you. Help us to come after you with
00:42everything we have.
00:43Oh, help us not to hold back. But unfortunately, the Bible has some bad news about this young man.
00:50The Bible says, but when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful.
00:56So, this young man went away sorrowful because he had great possessions.
01:02He had so much possessions that he did not want to give them up for the Christ.
01:07Jesus said that there's one thing that you're lacking. There's something holding you back from the kingdom.
01:13And this young man, he wanted to hold back on God.
01:19He said, basically, what I have is too wonderful right now. I cannot give it unto God.
01:25Oh, Lord, help us to give anything that holds us back from you unto you.
01:31That should be our prayer. But this young man was not willing.
01:35He said, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm doing my thing right now. I want to do my thing
01:39right now.
01:39I want my stuff. I'm not going to give it up. I don't care about eternal life that much.
01:44I don't care about the kingdom of God that much.
01:47Oh, have mercy. This man came close to the kingdom and did not enter in because he was holding back
01:53on God.
01:54Today, I plead with men and women not to hold back on God.
01:58This man lost all of eternity. This is a sad, sad state.
02:02He lost all of eternal bliss.
02:04He will die in the judgment simply because he wanted to hold back worldly cares.
02:10Help us, God, not to hold back worldly cares.
02:13Help us to surrender everything that holds us back from you.
02:19This should be our prayer before God.
