Mariah — Mariah 1975 (USA, Hard Rock)

The first and only studio album by the American rock band. Released in 1975 on United Artists Records. Over the course of several years, the band achieved some success in the local scene in their hometown of Chicago and released four singles on various labels. However, personnel changes plagued the band, which were only resolved by 1974. In early 1975, they recorded their debut album at Paragon Studios. They were assisted by local producer Bob Destocky, who had previously worked with the jazz-rock band Chase and would later collaborate with Joe Walsh and Grand Funk Railroad. However, the band's unstable lineup continued to plague them, and by the end of the year, Frank Sullivan's attempts to keep the band together had failed. The band's career was over before it had even begun. Frank Sullivan continued his career in the Chicago group Survivor.
