Television favorite Shelley Fabares has died at 82. She became a star playing Mary Stone on The Donna Reed Show, then proved she could conquer the music charts too when “Johnny Angel” became a number-one hit.

Fabares went on to star opposite Elvis Presley in three movies before finding a whole new generation of fans as Christine Armstrong on Coach. Her remarkable career stretched across more than six decades of television, movies, and music.
