00:00Further afield, in the extratropics where the UK is and places like northwest Europe, there are also impacts.
00:07We can see that as the El Nino fires up and creates rising motion and then descent over Central America
00:15and the Caribbean region,
00:16that kicks off a train of weather patterns that come across to the UK in the autumn.
00:22And so the biggest signal we see in the next few weeks or next few months is a big low
00:30pressure signal for around the UK or slightly west of the UK.
00:34And that signifies increased storminess and wet weather for the autumn beyond what we would normally expect.
