How to Replace the Batteries in a Kids' Electric Ride-On Car | DIY Repair
In this video, I'll show you how to replace the batteries in a kids' electric ride-on car that wouldn't turn on anymore. I bought this broken ride-on car for just €20, diagnosed the problem, tested the old batteries with a multimeter, and installed new 6V batteries to bring it back to life.
If your kids' electric car won't turn on, won't charge, or has been sitting unused for a long time, dead batteries are one of the most common causes. This step-by-step tutorial will help you replace them yourself and save money.
This guide applies to many 12V kids' ride-on cars that use two 6V sealed lead-acid (SLA) batteries, including Audi, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Jeep, Range Rover, and many other licensed ride-on cars.
Tools needed:
- Screwdriver
- Multimeter (optional, but recommended)
- Two 6V replacement batteries
