00:01Hang Miyoku
00:03My head has always been perfectly round,
00:05but I wouldn't want to change it into a cone head.
00:08Or do you think it secretly looks better on me?
00:12Okay, the people in this video probably would.
00:15This is Hang Miyoku, a South Korean former model and singer
00:19who became so obsessed with staying young
00:22that she crossed a line most people can't even imagine.
00:25After years of facial injections,
00:27her surgeons finally said no.
00:29They warned her that one more procedure could cause permanent damage.
00:34But Hang wasn't taking no for an answer.
00:36She found a shady doctor willing to hand her a syringe
00:39and a bottle of industrial silicone to inject at home.
00:42She pumped it into her cheeks, her forehead, her chin.
00:46And when the silicone ran out, she walked into her kitchen,
00:49grabbed a bottle of cooking oil,
00:51and started injecting that into her face instead.
00:54cooking oil, the same stuff you'd use to fry an egg.
00:58She was literally deep frying her own face from the inside out.
01:02Her face swelled to a monstrous, almost unrecognizable size.
01:07Her head became so enormous compared to her tiny body
01:10that children in her neighborhood started calling her the standing fan.
01:14It's a brutal nickname, but if you see the photos, it's weirdly accurate.
01:19She looked like a desk fan with legs.
01:22After her story aired on Korean television,
01:24viewers were so moved they donated thousands of dollars for corrective surgery.
01:29Over multiple operations, surgeons removed about 60 grams of foreign material from her face,
01:35and 200 grams from her neck.
01:37That's over half a pound of cooking oil, silicone, and hardened gunk pulled out of a human face.
01:43They managed to reduce the swelling, but the damage was permanent.
01:47Her face was left scarred and distorted.
01:49The saddest part is that before all of this, she was genuinely beautiful.
01:54She had a career, a life, a future.
01:57And she destroyed it all because she couldn't stop chasing a version of herself that didn't exist.
02:02It's a cautionary tale so extreme, so visually shocking,
02:06you'll never look at your kitchen pantry the same way again.
02:10Mary Magdalene
02:12Mary Magdalene was a Mexican-Canadian influencer
02:15who turned her body into a living, breathing work of extreme performance art.
02:20She spent well over $100,000 on surgeries, including 38 J breast implants,
02:26multiple Brazilian butt lifts, and a procedure in Colombia
02:30to create what she proudly called the world's puffiest foof.
02:34My opinion?
02:35Foof is acceptable up until the age of 10.
02:38After that, eh, a bit strange.
02:41Anyway, that last one almost killed her.
02:46During the operation, she started hemorrhaging so badly
02:49that doctors had to perform two emergency blood transfusions.
02:53Yep, for real.
02:55The surgeon later told her he genuinely thought she was going to die on the table.
03:01You know it's a bad day when your quest for a record-breaking bajingo
03:04almost gets you a record-breakingly stupid death.
03:08But she didn't stop.
03:09She kept pushing the limits.
03:11She kept going back for more.
03:14Her 38 J implants were so massive, so overfilled,
03:19that one of them eventually ruptured inside her chest,
03:23leaving her with a grotesque, deflated uniboob.
03:26One giant, lopsided breast where two used to be.
03:31And she turned that into content, too.
03:34Everything was content.
03:35The near-death experiences, the exploding body parts, the constant pain.
03:41It was all part of the brand.
03:43She was famous for being a disaster.
03:45And she knew it.
03:47The irony is just... thick.
03:50She nearly bled out on a surgical table in Colombia.
03:53But that's not how her story ends.
03:55In December 2025, at the age of 33, Mary Magdalene died after falling from a ninth-floor balcony at a
04:03tower in Phuket, Thailand.
04:05Police opened an investigation.
04:08After surviving all those insane, self-inflicted medical crises, she died in a way that was completely unrelated, yet just
04:16as sudden and sensational.
04:17Her final social media posts were haunting, referencing The Truman Show and a feeling of being watched and trapped.
04:26She built a prison of flesh and fame.
04:28And in the end, she couldn't escape it.
04:32Christina Rae
04:33Christina Rae was a nail technician from St. Petersburg, Russia, who hated her thin lips.
04:39She thought they made her ugly.
04:41Her idol?
04:42Jessica Rabbit.
04:44The cartoon character.
04:45The one with the red dress and the impossible proportions.
04:48So, at 17, she started getting silicone lip injections.
04:52And she didn't stop.
04:55Of course not.
04:57By the time she was 22, she had undergone around 100 injections, spending roughly 4,000 pounds to turn her
05:05mouth into what tabloids called the world's biggest lips.
05:09Her mouth ballooned into a permanently swollen, cartoonishly large pout that looked less like a human face and more like
05:17a medical illustration of what not to do.
05:20Tabloids had a field day, joking that she looked like the Rolling Stones logo come to life.
05:26Strangers would shout, big lips, at her on the street.
05:29She became a walking meme.
05:31But the truly wild part?
05:33She loved it.
05:34She said it made her happy.
05:36She claimed she could still eat, talk, and kiss normally, which is honestly the most unbelievable part of this whole
05:44story.
05:45How do you kiss someone with those?
05:47It's like two pool floats colliding.
05:49You'd need a spotter.
05:51What makes Christina's case so uniquely bizarre is that it's not a medical disaster.
05:56She had no major health complications.
05:59No infections.
06:00No ruptures.
06:01No emergency rooms.
06:02It's a disaster of aesthetics and psychology.
06:06She intentionally, deliberately, over the course of years, engineered a look that most of the world finds grotesque.
06:13But in her mind, it's fantastic.
06:17She had no plans to stop, either.
06:19She wanted to go even bigger, to fully become the real-life Jessica Rabbit.
06:24It's a bizarre testament to the power of body dysmorphia.
06:27She looked in the mirror and didn't see a surgical disaster.
06:31She saw her ideal self.
06:35Farrah Abraham, of MTV's Teen Mom fame, is no stranger to the surgeon's chair.
06:43Breast augmentation, facial work, fillers, she's been through the catalog.
06:48But in January 2015, at the age of 23, she decided to level up.
06:54Instead of her usual temporary lip fillers, she opted for a more permanent lip implant.
07:00A real, solid implant.
07:03What could go wrong?
07:05Well, pretty much everything.
07:08Shortly after the anesthetic was administered, her upper lip had a massive allergic or inflammatory reaction
07:15and swelled to a comical, horrifying size.
07:19It ballooned outward, dwarfing her lower lip entirely, twisting her mouth into a bizarre, painful-looking duck bill.
07:26It looked like she'd been stung by a thousand bees.
07:29Or lost a fight with a vacuum cleaner.
07:32A plastic surgeon, Dr. Anthony Yoon, later explained that lip tissue is extremely reactive.
07:39And the combination of the implant trauma and the medication likely triggered a severe inflammatory response.
07:46And here's where Farrah earned some respect.
07:49Instead of hiding, she leaned into it.
07:52She immediately posted photos on social media, comparing herself to Turanga Leela, the one-eyed character from Futurama, and slapped
08:01the hashtag, hashtag botched, on everything.
08:05She owned the disaster.
08:08She turned her face into a viral meme before anyone else could do it for her.
08:13She ended up in the emergency room, of course, but not before the internet had already made her the poster
08:18child for lip procedures gone wrong.
08:21The irony is just perfect.
08:24A reality star, already famous for her cosmetic procedures, tries to get a more permanent, more refined look, and ends
08:32up with a temporary but incredibly extreme disfigurement that made her look less like a model and more like a
08:38looney tune.
08:40Jocelyn Wildenstein
08:43Jocelyn Wildenstein is the final boss of plastic surgery disasters.
08:48She's not a case of one botched procedure.
08:51She's the accumulated result of decades of them.
08:54A Swiss-born socialite who married into a billionaire art-dealing family in New York, she became globally infamous for
09:01her surgically altered, feline-like face.
09:04The tabloids nicknamed her Catwoman, and the name stuck like one of her many, many facelifts.
09:11Over the years, she underwent an almost endless list of procedures, facelifts, brow lifts, blepharoplasty, cheek implants, lip injections, chin
09:21work,
09:21reportedly to achieve a more cat-like appearance that her ex-husband, billionaire art dealer Alec Wildenstein, allegedly adored.
09:30He must have been a very, very big fan of cats.
09:33Like, a suspiciously big fan.
09:35The kind of fan that makes you wonder what's going on in that mansion.
09:38The cumulative result was a permanent, mask-like expression.
09:42Her skin was pulled so taut it looked like it might snap.
09:46Her eyes were stretched into narrow slits.
09:49Her cheekbones were so prominent they could cut glass.
09:51She became a living caricature, a walking punchline for every plastic surgery gone wrong list ever written.
09:59But the psychological layer is what makes this case truly fascinating.
10:04Jocelyn has always, consistently, denied being addicted to surgery.
10:08She insists she's simply aging well, and that her look is the natural result of her Swiss heritage and high
10:15cheekbones.
10:16Swiss heritage? What, are they part lion over there? Is that a thing?
10:21It's a level of denial that is almost as staggering as the surgery itself.
10:25The ultimate irony is that she allegedly did all of this to please her husband, to keep him attracted to
10:31her.
10:32But the marriage ended in a messy, high-profile divorce anyway.
10:36The husband left, the face stayed.
10:39She's a living monument to the idea that money can buy you a new face, but it can't buy you
10:44a happy ending.
10:47Emelyn Nguyen
10:49This last one isn't funny.
10:51There are no jokes here.
10:52This is a tragedy.
10:54In August 2019, 18-year-old Emelyn Nguyen walked into Colorado Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery for a breast augmentation.
11:03It was supposed to be a routine procedure, something thousands of young women do every year.
11:07She was healthy, she was excited, and she trusted the people in that room to take care of her.
11:14She was put under anesthesia by nurse anesthetist Rex Meeker.
11:18And then, for 15 minutes, she was left completely unobserved.
11:23No one was watching her vitals.
11:25No one was in the room.
11:28When Meeker and the surgeon, Dr. Jeffrey Kim, returned, Emelyn's lips were blue.
11:34Her face was blue.
11:35The discoloration was spreading across her entire body.
11:39She had gone into cardiac arrest.
11:42They resuscitated her.
11:44Then she arrested again.
11:46A second cardiac arrest.
11:47And then, for five hours, they did not call 911.
11:54Five hours!
11:55An 18-year-old girl had two cardiac arrests on their table, and they sat on it for five hours
12:02before calling an ambulance?
12:03My God!
12:05By the time she finally reached a hospital, the oxygen deprivation had caused catastrophic brain damage.
12:12Emelyn was left in a permanent vegetative state.
12:15She couldn't speak.
12:17She couldn't walk.
12:18She couldn't eat on her own.
12:20She required round-the-clock care and a permanent feeding tube.
12:24For 14 agonizing months, her family cared for her, hoping for a recovery that would never come.
12:31She died in October 2020.
12:34She was 19 years old.
12:37This wasn't a freak accident.
12:39This was negligence.
12:41Gross, criminal negligence.
12:44Leaving a patient unattended under anesthesia is a cardinal sin in medicine.
12:49Waiting five hours to call for help after two cardiac arrests is beyond inexplicable.
12:56Dr. Kim was eventually charged with criminally negligent homicide.
13:00Nurse Meeker was charged with manslaughter.
13:03Emelyn didn't die because she wanted bigger breasts.
13:05She died because the people she paid to care for her didn't.
13:10Rest in peace.
13:11Boothiless.
13:13Rebellion.
13:15Yes.
13:26It works unto themselves.
13:28In this case.
13:28All the same words.
13:29Please.
13:29Please.
