00:00A farmer planted two seeds in the ground, one bamboo seed and one corn seed.
00:04Within a few weeks, the corn seed sprouted from the soil, grew into a small plant,
00:08and gave the farmer something to look at every day. He was happy because he could see visible
00:12progress. But the bamboo seed was different. The first year passed, and nothing happened.
00:17The second year passed, and still nothing appeared above the ground. Then came the third,
00:22fourth, and even fifth year. Yet there was no sign of bamboo. The farmer's neighbors began
00:27mocking him. You're wasting your time, they said. There's nothing growing there. But the farmer
00:31never stopped watering the soil. Every day he continued putting in the same effort, even though
00:36he could not see any result. Then, after five years, something incredible happened. The bamboo finally
00:42emerged from the ground, and within just six weeks, it grew to 90 feet tall. The question is,
00:47did the bamboo really grow 90 feet in six weeks? No. It had been growing for five years beneath the
00:52surface, building a deep and powerful root system strong enough to support that height when the time
00:57came. Just because you cannot see progress does not mean nothing is happening. Some people live like
01:02corn, fast growth, fast result, but shallow roots. Others are like bamboo. For years, their efforts seem
01:08invisible, their progress unnoticed, and people question whether they are getting anywhere at all.
01:13But when their foundation is finally ready, they rise so quickly, that everyone is amazed. If your hard
01:19work is not showing results yet, maybe you are not corn, maybe you are bamboo.
