00:08Hi guys, Daisy Burk here, and on my Twitter, I posted a little game that I wanted to play,
00:19which is like, I don't know what it's called, I guess it's called Truth Truth Lie, or guess
00:24which one's a lie, basically the game is like this, you divulge, or you tell the person
00:34two truths and one lie, and you gotta pick it, so on my Twitter, I decided to play this
00:44game, and okay, so I'm gonna give you three things, and you have to pick out which is
00:50the lie, okay, number one, I was once set on fire, number two, I have been in bed with
01:00Tom Cruise, the actor, number three, I bungee jumped at the LA Fair, so two of those are
01:10truths, and one of them is a lie, again, number one, I was once set on fire, number two, I
01:20have been in bed with Tom Cruise, that, number three, I bungee jumped at the LA Fair, try the
01:31answer, but, you know, let you digest that for a little bit, and Josephine has a lot to say,
01:39my bird, as you're pondering that, I'm gonna show you a little ghetto, fabulous, believe me,
01:45because I love mimosas, but sometimes orange juice is a little bit too acidity, if that's
01:50a word, so, what I do is I get some cheap champagne, because you don't want to mix, I don't
01:56know,
01:56I don't like mimosas or stuff like that with good champagne, because good champagne is good
02:00on its own, if you're gonna mix it, go for the cheap, so, cheap champagne, and for Bellini,
02:06I get this little, it's a mango, sun's reflecting, it's a mango peach, little drippy drip, you just
02:19go, boop, and it makes it this color, and it gives like a little peach flavor, mmm, it's like
02:29a little Bellini, yummy, that way you don't get that acid-y taste from the orange juice,
02:36sometimes I like to mix instead of orange juice, actually I prefer pineapple juice, or grapefruit
02:43juice, guava is good, mango is good, pretty much any juice is better than orange juice, pineapple
02:55juice probably is better for you, because, um, it's good for the stomach, I like the grapefruit
03:01juice, but if you're doing allergy medicine, grapefruit juice and allergy medicine are no-no,
03:07they're bad, I forget why, I think I googled, like, it takes away the efficiency of the allergy
03:15medicine, and it's been known that it has people's sickness and sometimes death, yeah, death,
03:21really, yeah, no, we are, grapefruit juice is going to be very careful with medicines and
03:26stuff like that, now as you're still thinking about which is the lie, I might insert some
03:31things here, I don't know how I'm going to edit this video yet, um, so you might see something,
03:37and, um, we'll go with that.
03:43Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do.
03:59I will do you with my lizard face.
04:01I do this really weird lizard face, but every time I do it, I get really sore right here
04:06because I can make these veins pop out like this and look like a lizard, but then they
04:10hurt, so I'm not going to do that.
04:12Yeah.
04:13Teaser alert.
04:17Okay.
04:18Did you figure out which was alive?
04:20Alright.
04:21I'm going to divulge it right now.
04:25Okay.
04:27As you know, the game was pick which one is alive.
04:30One, I was one set on fire.
04:33Number two, I've been in bed with Tom Cruise, the actor.
04:36Number three, I bungee jumped at the LA County Fair.
04:39Do you think you got it right?
04:40Do you think you got it right?
04:43Okay.
04:46First truth.
04:48In May of 2000, I went to the Cannes Film Festival with Trauma Films in France,
04:54and I was the first model ever to be set on fire on the beach as a fire stunt to
04:59promote
04:59a movie.
05:00I was interviewed and featured twice on e-television.
05:05They did a full interview with me.
05:06I have the video somewhere in the trunk, and I will try to find it, and I will post it
05:12up
05:13on YouTube.
05:13I just got to find it, and I have to transfer it from VHS to DVD, and then put it.
05:19So there's a lot of work involved.
05:20But it's really cool.
05:22It's a really cool interview.
05:23They see me getting ready in the fire suit and talking about it, and the whole thing.
05:28It's really good.
05:29And then they also did another part where they did a clip of me when they did a special just
05:34for the Riviera.
05:35And then John Stossel interviewed me, and he put me in his 2020 special called Hype.
05:42So actually, I got a lot of coverage on that.
05:44It was pretty cool.
05:45So I was interviewed and featured twice on e-television and by John Stossel on 2020 special
05:50called Hype.
05:51I was also on the cover and featured in the media magazine Variety and the reporter in France.
05:57It was kind of cool.
05:58I'll show you pictures of that.
05:59I have it framed and stuff, so I'll show you pictures of that in this video, I think.
06:03It was really fun.
06:05I really, I really worded this.
06:08I wrote this out first.
06:11I really wish they would have booked me on more fire stunts, but I really wasn't professionally
06:15trained, so maybe that's why I didn't get hit all the time.
06:18Like, they, usually I think there's a stunt association involved before you do a stunt.
06:25And I basically got one day, like, quick training.
06:29Like, it wasn't even real fire.
06:30I was in the office and they told me, okay, you know, we're going to put you in this fire
06:35suit and you've got to tuck in your hair, no hairspray, no this, no certain kind of makeup.
06:40And they gave me all this rundown and we want you in a green bikini and we're going to put
06:45you in the suit and then we're going to light you on fire and once we tap you, you can't
06:50breathe.
06:50You have to hold your breath and then we want you to walk.
06:55And then when you can't hold your breath any longer, that's when you go down to the ground
07:00and you still got to hold your breath and then we, we will have fire extinguishers put
07:06out the fire and you cannot breathe until we tap you.
07:10And the reason for that is, um, fumes, the stuff that they put on you is flammable and if you
07:19breathe in those fumes, get where I'm going here.
07:23If you breathe in the fumes, it's flammable and you blow up like this.
07:30I don't think that would be good, kick in your insides.
07:33So I'm like, okay.
07:35And so I just basically ran down and then they said, okay, then when we tap you, you
07:40can start breathing and we're going to pull the suit off and you're going to be in your
07:43bikini and everyone's like, oh my God, it's a girl, you know, and then you're going to
07:47take pictures and splash around in the water.
07:49And I did.
07:50It was really fun.
07:51However, when I got on the beach, I got to be a ham, you know, I was like dancing.
07:55And I was in my big old fire suit and, um, it was interviewed and stuff and they were
08:00like watching me get ready and everything.
08:02And, and I was interviewed through the whole thing.
08:05And then, um, when I got lit on fire, I kept walking.
08:08I was like, I wonder how long I could hold my breath and I could have walked even further.
08:12But then I'm thinking, no, because I better, you know, I walked like beyond what they said
08:18to walk.
08:18I kind of kept going and I would have cut went further, but I'm thinking, oh, it might take
08:24a long time to take the fire out and I might be gasping for air.
08:27So I did it a little further than I should have done it, but it still worked.
08:33Like I, I wasn't gasping for air, but I did have to hold my breath for the whole time.
08:38Um, and, and so, yeah, I guess that's why they didn't call me back for that because I think
08:44there is like a stunt thing, like association or a union and stuff.
08:48So, yeah, but I got it.
08:52So I just got to find the video of it, of, of all those three shows and put it in
08:59one video
09:00and I'll show it to you guys because I can't find it on the internet to save my life.
09:05I saw a little clip bits of it, but it's not the full thing.
09:08I got to show you.
09:09Okay.
09:10So that's the truth.
09:11I was once set on fire.
09:14Okay.
09:14Now, the second truth is, see, I used to be a TV movie extra, you know, one of those extra
09:23people.
09:23I was sent on the job.
09:28I read it all out.
09:29I'm all professional.
09:31Okay.
09:32I used to be a TV movie extra.
09:35I was sent on a job that was very vague in what they wanted us all to do.
09:40A bunch of us girls had us set in a big room and they picked a few of us out
09:43of the group
09:44and sent us into wardrobe.
09:46They put us in very tasteful, but it was lingerie.
09:49They placed us in a big bed to do this Austin Powers type of photo shoot around this guy,
09:55this model.
09:56Once they got all the lighting and everything to their liking, the male model leaves, the
10:01one that we were with.
10:02He leaves.
10:03And then in comes Tom Cruise.
10:06And he's wearing like this black vest and black shirt and black pants.
10:12He looked pretty handsome.
10:14I always thought he was really short.
10:15He wasn't as short and as tiny as everyone makes him out to be.
10:20I guess because I'm short and tiny, so he looked kind of normal to me.
10:24Or I guess he would have been short and petite, but you know when people always say,
10:29Oh my God, he's so short and petite and then we finally meet him.
10:31You know, it doesn't live up to the hype.
10:34So maybe if no one ever told me that, I would have think he was petite.
10:38But anyway, so in comes Tom Cruise.
10:40He gets on the bed in the middle of us.
10:42And the photographer has me hold on to Tom Cruise's right arm and a muzzle in his ear.
10:49We also shot an office scene with Tom.
10:52And one lucky girl got to be a passenger in a car chase scene with him.
10:56So that probably got her acting crit right there.
10:59The photos were for the movie props in his movie called Magnolia.
11:04It was super hush hush.
11:05We were not allowed phones, cameras or anything like that on the set.
11:09If you ever see the movie, you only see him and me.
11:13That's all you see.
11:14But it's a very quick glimpse.
11:16Very brief.
11:17While he's looking at a magazine.
11:19I guess it's like a fake 900 number.
11:21And it's just really brief.
11:23You don't really see me at all.
11:24You have to really have to pause it.
11:26And still you get like a little.
11:30So yeah, it was like really hush hush.
11:32It was like they did a lot of pictures of us.
11:35And so I think it was just prop photos.
11:37Because if you've ever seen the movie Magnolia, he plays like a cad.
11:40Kind of like a womanizer type 900 number type of motivational speaker or something like that.
11:48So yeah, you could say that I've been paid to go to bed with Tom Cruise.
11:57See, I said go to bed.
11:58I didn't say sleep with him.
11:59We didn't sleep.
12:00There was no sleeping there.
12:01Although one of the models was so nervous that her underarm were sweating so bad that she had a tissue.
12:08And she kept putting it there.
12:10But they put her in satin lingerie, which was the worst.
12:13Because you could see the stains.
12:15It was really bad.
12:16It was just soft and wet.
12:17And she kept on trying to, you know, put the Kleenex there.
12:21Because she was super, super nervous.
12:24That's when he was married to Nicole still.
12:26So, but he was super sweet, super nice.
12:28And he laughed at all my jokes.
12:29Because during the Austin Power shoot, we were in bed.
12:32I go, yeah, yeah.
12:34And he started, he laughed.
12:35He laughed at my jokes.
12:36It was pretty cool.
12:37And then we did an office scene where we're like in secretary outfits.
12:40We're on the phones and he's behind us standing like this.
12:43And we're like all secretaries looking at him and stuff.
12:46Like a 900 numbers, I guess.
12:48One of the girls said something really stupid.
12:50I know she was just nervous.
12:52It wasn't like bad on her or anything like that.
12:54But she looked at him as they're getting the lighting all taken care of.
12:58And she goes, do you feel as stupid as we do right now?
13:03And he looked at her and he just kind of laughed.
13:05And he goes, no, I've been doing this for a while.
13:07So I'm used to it.
13:09And I'm thinking, really?
13:11Like, it's not stupid.
13:12It's called acting.
13:13If you feel stupid, maybe you should try a better career or something like that.
13:19But I don't really, you know, I'm not going to bust her for it.
13:22Because I think she was just like nervous.
13:25So, I guess that means process elimination.
13:30You know which one's a lie.
13:33That leaves bungee jumping at the LA County Fair as the lie.
13:37I will never bungee jump on purpose.
13:41If I ever do bungee jump, that means someone's trying to kill me.
13:48So, if you ever hear any bungee jumping, call cops.
13:53Because I was pushed.
13:54Because I will never go bungee jumping.
14:01I can't.
14:02I know on the girls next door, I did the trapeze thing.
14:06I don't know what I was thinking, but I did it.
14:08I was all tethered in.
14:09It wasn't, I have this height thing, like climbing up the stairs was the worst part.
14:12Because you're not tethered.
14:13I mean, I did the trapeze at the girls next door.
14:15Oh, I should have saved this for another true truth lie.
14:18Oh, well, it's on, it's on TV, so I can't, I guess that's a bad one.
14:22But yeah, I was walking up.
14:24That was the scariest thing because you have to wear socks and the socks kept, anyway.
14:28But I got on the trapeze and as soon as I went in, I don't like that thing when you
14:34go on roller coasters.
14:35I can't do roller coasters either.
14:37Where you go down really quick and then your stomach is like, feels like it's up here.
14:43Yeah, I can't do that.
14:45I can't do anything that goes down really quick.
14:47Like roller coasters and the trapeze and bungee jumping for sure I couldn't do it.
14:52And the trapeze thing was funny because when I did the trapeze on the girls next door, I felt that.
14:57I didn't know I would feel that because I didn't think the trapeze would be enough to get that feeling.
15:02Oh, yeah, I did.
15:03And then they were telling me, okay, put your feet up.
15:05But I couldn't.
15:06My legs were shaking.
15:08I don't know.
15:08They said it was a drill, a drill, a drill.
15:11I can't say certain words.
15:13A drill-ian.
15:13This is another reason why I was never become an actress.
15:16I can't say.
15:17A drill-ian, a drill-ian, a drill.
15:20I know, you know what I mean, right?
15:22A drill-ian, a drill-ian, a drill-ian rush, a drill-ian rush.
15:31You know what I mean.
15:32Anyway, I don't know.
15:35It was like they were stiff, but I couldn't stop shaking them.
15:39I just couldn't stop shaking my legs.
15:41And they call me the shakingly because I'm wearing the green sweatsuit, this lime green sweatsuit.
15:47And I did it twice.
15:49You've got to give it to me.
15:50Kendra couldn't even just did it once.
15:53I did it twice because I thought, okay, that was weird.
15:56Let me try this again.
15:58You know, my feet locked up and they were just, they were shaking like this.
16:02My legs were like this.
16:03And I couldn't control them.
16:04I just couldn't control them.
16:05I wanted to do more, but I was just like, and I asked, I go, what is that about?
16:10They go, it's a drill-ian rush.
16:12A drill-ian.
16:13A drill-ian.
16:15A drill-ian.
16:17A drill-ian.
16:18A drill-ian.
16:20A drill-ian.
16:23There's just some words I just can't pronounce.
16:25I really try.
16:28But anyway, so I'll look that up on Girls Next Door.
16:31Maybe I'll do a little clip on that, too.
16:33Like, I'll put that up on my YouTube channel.
16:36So, thanks for playing along to true, true, lie.
16:41True, true, lie.
16:44So, alright, thanks for playing.
16:46Maybe we'll do another game next week.
16:50Mwah!
16:50Make sure to look at the pictures.
16:51I'm going to put something over here.
16:53I don't know what I'm going to do, but...
16:56Be sure to subscribe.
16:57Bye.
16:59I'm curious to stop with that.
17:01There he is.
