00:01Brothers, please pay close attention to what I'll share in this video, because what's
00:06happening at the beginning of this year, 2026, is something I haven't seen before.
00:11In the world of entertainment, especially in the Christian community, you probably remember
00:16how Christian movies used to be, right?
00:20They were low-budget films, the stories were very weak, usually just retelling what was
00:25in the Bible, and that's when they weren't telling different things, right?
00:29Unfortunately, we end up being very skeptical, very suspicious, because some companies tried
00:36to make biblical movies in the past, and they made mistakes.
00:39At several moments, anyone who read the Bible and looked at the screen could tell that something
00:44was wrong.
00:45I remember that movie I even watched in the theater with my family.
00:49The movie is called Exodus, Gods and Kings.
00:52Do you remember that movie?
00:53The film aimed to tell Moses' story, but portrays God as very distant.
00:58A God as if he were just an idea, like a thought in Moses' mind, and not a God who
01:04speaks, who
01:05commands, who has his own will, a God who reveals himself, just as it is in the Bible, right?
01:11What would it cost them to make a movie based on the Bible?
01:15Since there are millions of Christians spread across the face of the earth, and for sure,
01:20it's a loyal audience, an audience that consumes when something is really relevant.
01:25Besides that, we notice that miracles are treated as if they were natural phenomena.
01:30You know?
01:31That's what science tries to bring to our days, right?
01:34They want to show, for example, that the parting of the Red Sea was just a wind that
01:39happened at that exact moment.
01:41But what they don't explain is how that wind happened.
01:44Exactly when the Hebrew people were there, in front of the sea, and also the wind stopped
01:50when the sea closed, right after the people had already crossed.
01:54So, all the time they want to discredit the Bible, and that's very sad.
01:58We often realize the enemy can be behind this kind of movie, and that's not an exaggeration.
02:05There is a battle happening right now in the heavenly realm, and few people realize this.
02:11After all, the entertainment industry is the best way to deceive people.
02:16It's the best way to manipulate the entire population, because it deals with audiovisuals.
02:22It stirs our emotions, our feelings.
02:25Or maybe someone made a movie, but with their own interpretation, or based on what they believed
02:30in their personal interpretation of the Bible.
02:33An example of this is that movie Noah.
02:35Remember it?
02:36And I, personally, have watched it about three times, because I really like it.
02:40But I know it caused a lot of controversy at the time.
02:43For example, the director brought in stories and elements that aren't in the Bible, but
02:48were inspired by the Book of Enoch.
02:50So you notice those stone beings there, called Watchers, who don't appear in the biblical text.
02:56Besides that, Noah is portrayed as someone confused, often uneducated, rough, right?
03:03Someone who takes extreme actions, not in the way God wants, but based on the experiences
03:08he had.
03:09Of course, brothers, the movie shows a new perspective, right?
03:13Because we have that idea of Noah's Ark, as if everything was nice and neat.
03:16Then the rainbow comes, and everything is perfect.
03:19But brothers, the truth is, it was rough.
03:23Stop and think about it.
03:24Humanity was wiped out.
03:26Not just people, but animals, nature.
03:30Everything was devastated.
03:31So the new world could begin, and God could restart humanity.
03:35So, the movie portrays this realistic aspect very faithfully, and there was also another
03:41movie where they tried to portray the life of Jesus.
03:44The movie's called The Last Temptation of Christ, brothers.
03:48This movie caused a lot of outrage because it shows Jesus imagining an ordinary life with
03:53marriage and sexual desires.
03:55So, for those who truly believe in the gospel, that's not a small detail, not at all.
04:00That harms the whole story, because it directly affects the holiness of Christ, and the foundation
04:05of our Christian faith, you know?
04:08So that's why, many times, this ends up upsetting people.
04:12It makes them feel hesitant.
04:14But thank God, this scenario is changing, because Christian companies are taking on their role,
04:20taking their place.
04:21And what used to be an obstacle, a difficulty, which was financial resources, thank God, people
04:28are supporting.
04:29Like in the case of The Chosen, which was completely funded by people's donations.
04:34And with that, they raised a lot of money.
04:37They definitely spent a lot, and keep spending.
04:40But this opened doors for them to make movies at a Hollywood level, so to speak, right?
04:46So today, I want to quickly talk about the movie David, A King is Born.
04:50This movie that's in theaters isn't just the kind of movie you go to just to show some
04:55moral support, you know?
04:57Oh, I'm going there because it's a Christian movie, and Christian movies should lead the
05:01box office, should surpass worldly movies.
05:04But no, brothers.
05:05This movie surprised me, because it shows David's life in a very real way, but not by telling,
05:12for example, about David's adult phase.
05:15Like what happened in House of David, which is David's house, that fantastic series.
05:20But here in this movie, we notice that they talk about David when he lived in anonymity,
05:25taking care of the sheep.
05:27And the first thing we notice is that they show David in his essence, because David is
05:31not that giant.
05:32You know, that warrior.
05:35No.
05:36Brothers.
05:37He was a simple shepherd, took care of the sheep, smelled like animals.
05:41You know, he was a boy that nobody thought much of.
05:45In fact, when the prophet Samuel went to the house of his father, Jesse, to anoint the future
05:50king of Israel, not even the prophet believed that David could be the future king of Israel,
05:55not his father, not his brothers.
05:58Nobody thought much of that boy, but brothers.
06:01God himself told the prophet Samuel, do not pay attention to appearance, because I see the
06:06heart.
06:07Man only sees the outside, only the appearance.
06:10We can see in this movie that they got it right.
06:12For those who don't know, she is responsible for the series The Chosen, for that wonderful
06:21movie called Sound of Freedom.
06:24I watched it.
06:25I was moved.
06:26And I believe everyone should watch that movie.
06:28And what I find most interesting is that this company makes a point of saying, look, we are
06:34Christians.
06:35We have a purpose to spread the message of the gospel from the Bible.
06:38And they are not ashamed of it, brothers.
06:40Brothers.
06:41And it has worked.
06:42I'll show you here.
06:43The numbers don't lie.
06:44Right?
06:45Why?
06:46They invested more than 60 million rees in this David movie.
06:50And they're already seeing results.
06:52Thank God.
06:53More than 20 million rees.
06:55They already recovered it just in the first weekend.
06:59Surpassing that Spongebob cartoon.
07:01Brothers, people saw the movie mainly due to limited choices, not because they truly enjoyed
07:08it.
07:08Personally, I fell in love with the visuals.
07:11I was impressed to see the richness of detail in the clothes.
07:15You noticed that the enemy peoples had one type of clothing, and the people of Israel had
07:20different clothes.
07:21They had a different way of living and communicating, always paying attention to every detail.
07:27And one thing you'll notice is that there was a purpose for them to portray David at
07:31that stage.
07:32Right?
07:33In anonymity.
07:35And you'll notice that they showed a lot.
07:37The childish side.
07:38The child side of David.
07:40Because that's where, brothers, that's where our character is formed.
07:43It's in our childhood that things happen, especially at the foundation of our lives.
07:48And that's why we, as parents, have this responsibility to raise our children in the
07:53best way possible.
07:54In the ways of the Lord.
07:56Because later it's no use complaining.
07:58We need to teach them from the very beginning.
08:00Right?
08:01So, the movie.
08:03It shows something very simple.
08:04That if you want to be approved by God in public, you must first be approved in private.
08:10Nowadays, that's the time we live in.
08:12Right?
08:13Of social media.
08:14Where everything has to be exposed so we can get praise and approval from people.
08:19But brothers, this movie highlights a detail we've lost over time.
08:24We don't need anyone's applause.
08:26We don't need recognition from people.
08:29Above all, we need God to validate our testimony.
08:32Amen.
08:33So I won't tell you here.
08:35Of course.
08:36Go watch the movie.
08:38I see we live in a time when people don't want to go through the process.
08:43And it's clear in David's life that he went through all these processes.
08:47You know?
08:48In fact, our thinking is very fast-paced, brothers.
08:52We want to watch everything at double speed, triple speed, and then what happens?
08:57We forget life is a process.
09:00Remember the movie Click?
09:02I watched it a long time ago, and it shows exactly that.
09:05The guy.
09:06He had a remote control, and he would skip the boring parts of life.
09:10Those processes, right?
09:11That nobody wants to go through.
09:13So he would skip all those parts.
09:15But then we realize in the movie that it didn't work out.
09:18Because life is made of processes, and there's no point in trying to skip steps.
09:22So, one thing I also noticed is that Davey, he wasn't just a musician, right?
09:29If you expect the movie to be musical throughout, it won't be.
09:33There are some songs, though.
09:35Do you remember Prince of Egypt?
09:39Wow.
09:40For me, it's number one.
09:41The best Christian children's movie I've ever seen.
09:44Of course, there are some things there that change a little, right?
09:48Related to the Bible, but it's to make it easier for people to understand.
09:52Even for those who aren't Christian.
09:53The person doesn't need to know the details.
09:55You know?
09:56There are things that don't need to be said.
09:58Even in this movie about David, we notice the violent side.
10:02Because David was a warrior.
10:03You agree?
10:04Imagine mostrando o lado violento.
10:06Blood everywhere.
10:08Kids shouldn't see this.
10:09Everything has its time.
10:12So, it's important to know this movie isn't a musical.
10:15But at the same time, it's a movie that shows that praise is a weapon of war.
10:20And that's what I found so interesting.
10:22Because David was a man who played music, and the demon would leave the king.
10:27Saul, for example.
10:28David understood that music wasn't just musical notes, but it was a weapon of war.
10:33That side was explained in detail, and I found it very interesting.
10:38But what I want to tell you is this.
10:40This movie came to change things, and put us on the level, on the standard, of a Hollywood movie.
10:46This, God willing, will open many doors.
10:49So that people around the world, people who don't know the gospel, can get to know the stories of the
10:55Bible.
10:55Which are so exciting.
10:57So rich in detail.
10:59So full of teachings and lessons.
11:01Isn't it true then, that you could be praying for God to move this kind of film forward?
11:06It's clear that the company wants to bring biblical values to this society that is so degrading.
11:12And if you, as a father or mother, you know the danger of this agenda.
11:16This agenda that has been bringing gender ideology.
11:19Right?
11:19In the movies, by the way.
11:21I hope that from now on, only good movies will come out.
11:25Christian movies, right?
11:26Of course they won't confuse our children's minds, brothers.
11:29I hope you enjoyed these comments I made here.
11:32I'm not going to say much.
11:33I'm holding myself back from giving too many details.
11:36Because otherwise, you might not like it if I reveal important details about the movie here.
11:41But know that it's not just that battle between David and the giant Goliath.
11:45There's much more behind this movie.
11:48And what if you watch it later?
11:49Leave your comment here sharing a point of view that I didn't mention, and that you think is interesting to
11:55show people.
11:56Alright.

12:12A big hug.
12:26God bless you.
12:26God bless you.
12:31God bless you.
12:32Amen.
12:32Amen.
