00:02Most people think that these three countries, the Norway, the Suede and Finland,
00:06form collectively the Scandinavian.
00:07However, these three countries actually constitute what we call the Phenoscandy,
00:12including also a region of Russia called the Peninsula of Kola.
00:15The Scandinavian includes really the Norway, the Suede and Denmark.
00:19The Finland is generally excluded from the Scandinavian,
00:22because it is more closely linked to the Baltic countries.
00:24The Denmark is included in the Scandinavian,
00:26even though it is from the other side of the sea,
00:27because of its history with the Suede,
00:29the two countries having led between 15 and 20 guerres against the other.
00:33By the way, the Denmark has long been dominated the region,
00:35and even controlled the Norway until 1814.
00:38Today, the term Scandinavian is sometimes used at fault
00:42to design the whole of the Nordic countries,
00:44including the Iceland and the Feroe Islands.
