00:00What is HiggsField specifically and what problem does it solve for its users?
00:07Hi, thank you so much for having me on the show.
00:10Today, HiggsField is a leading video AI platform,
00:13which dramatically democratizes the cost of video production
00:18by leveraging all the various models out there
00:21and building a proprietary layer on top of that.
00:25This is specifically useful in the space of social media marketing
00:29where marketers have to push a couple hundred of pieces of content every year
00:37to help their brand to stay relevant.
00:40So why focus on enterprise customers rather than consumers?
00:44What was the thinking behind that?
00:49This is a really exciting space,
00:52which I have been working for the last 11 years personally.
00:58What I observed for many years is that social media has become the largest media in the world.
01:07But at the same time, the tooling to tell stories for brands really lacks.
01:15It's almost impossible today to just keep up with the pace of social media trends
01:21using physical production.
01:23And that's where platforms like HiggsField come into the place
01:26where marketers can make commercially viable advertisements
01:32within just a matter of one, two hours
01:35and really go from market research,
01:38then to idea,
01:41then to the video generation,
01:43then to hyper-personalization,
01:45which is very important,
01:46as now marketers can leverage AI to hyper-personalize their message
01:50across various user segments.
01:53And then they can use connectors built within our
01:56Egentic product supercomputer
01:57to do distribution across various channels as well.
02:02You've talked about the democratization of video creation, Alex,
02:05but at one point,
02:06does the AI-generated content really just destroy the value of any content ever created,
02:11especially now that it's so easy.
02:12You go on any of these big platforms like ChatGBT
02:16and you ask it to give you an image,
02:18and then it gives you an image.
02:23We are actually seeing opposites.
02:26So we are not seeing the value of premium contents being destroyed.
02:32Just going back into the history of innovation,
02:36I believe what we observed is that
02:38the photography market actually boomed with iPhone,
02:42and there is more demand for high-quality photography now than ever.
02:47Similarly to video AI,
02:50Hicksfield itself sits at the intersection of three enormous industries.
02:55So one of them being advertisements,
02:58second is entertainment,
02:59and third one is creator economy.
03:02All these industries are fundamentally bottlenecked
03:06by the pace and the cost of video production.
03:10And we do believe as some of these constraints
03:13are being removed with Hicksfield,
03:16we are going to see influx of hyper-personalized,
03:21higher-quality contents.
03:23And you're at a $700 million in annualized revenue.
03:26How much of that is actually recurring,
03:28and how much of that usage could disappear
03:30if AI continues to make content creation a little cheaper?
03:37So out of $700 million run rates,
03:42we have over 700,000 paying users,
03:46on average paying over $1,000 a year.
03:49What's important is that
03:51predominantly over 70% of this revenue
03:54is actually subscription-based,
03:56and the rest is usage-based.
03:58Very often, we are seeing that businesses
04:00see high ROI of using AI-generated ads,
04:04and they keep generating more and more,
04:07like hundreds of ads a month,
04:09not just a year,
04:10and then they buy up more credits.
04:13I'd like to hear more about
04:14the fundraising environment right now.
04:16Investors, we know, are bullish on AI,
04:18but there are also a lot of questions
04:20about whether things are getting near bubble territory,
04:22especially in the public market.
04:24Did you find it easier to raise money in your Series B?
04:28Was it an easier sell to investors
04:30in your Series B round
04:32than it was in your Series A round,
04:33which was, I believe, September 2025?
04:39There is definitely an interesting
04:41market dynamics going out there.
04:44We definitely can see
04:46that a lot of growth funds
04:47are looking for open AI-anthropic
04:50and their potential upcoming IPOs.
04:53While Hicksfield is not a speculative bet,
04:58like our fundamentals
05:00actually back up this valuation.
05:03So looking just at the growth,
05:05we grew more than 40x year over year,
05:10crossing $700 million run rates
05:12without burning pretty much any money.
05:15So we are cash flow break-even.
05:18And we also go after this bigger opportunity
05:21in the video markets,
05:23which many other companies
05:24are actually sleeping on.
05:26That's why we do believe
05:27there is a great opportunity for us
05:29to actually keep growing with the same pace
05:33and attracting more capital down the line.
05:35You're also moving into Hollywood and entertainment.
05:38Is AI generation now going to replace
05:40their traditional set production
05:42or are we still maybe overselling it a little bit?
05:47I definitely agree with you
05:50that the general perception of video AI
05:53is that someone can just click one button
05:56and get a movie.
05:58But it doesn't work like that.
06:00And what we do at Hicksfield,
06:02we really make sure that we build showcases
06:06of that technology.
06:07We show what's possible.
06:10We uncover whole underlying economics
06:13and we can actually educate people what's possible.
06:16So with these specific segments,
06:18Kali Hill boys.
06:22Alex?
06:23The team of 40 people
06:24was working for over than four weeks
06:26and the cost to generate it
06:28was over $2 million.
06:30So the success rate today with AI
06:32is like maybe one out of 80,
06:34meaning that human intentionality
06:36and creative vision
06:38are more important than ever.
