00:00the uh the mvp race apparently in the national league heating up too we saw tani go yard a couple
00:07of times uh last night we've heard about the bullpen sessions that he'll eventually be back
00:12to pitch here at some point but pete cromstrong just full display yesterday uh with the walk-off
00:19right uh to get it done for the cubs a lot of people's clay what four for five last night
00:25i
00:25believe lead off home run walk off home run double walk stolen base 30 30 season again the second
00:32straight 30 30 season so did he win it last night did he did he clinch the mvp no way
00:39i don't think
00:40so but it's gonna be close i've given you my thought on it i still vote for otani anytime he
00:45pitches during a season uh if otani only threw 30 innings maybe i would think the other way but
00:51i mean otani ended up pitching almost half the season and i don't even think he's done
00:55given the fact that a two-way player will be non-existent the minute that otani retires i'll
01:00keep voting for him to be the mvp because no one else is going to ever do what he's doing
01:05over the
01:05course of a regular season but that being said pete crow armstrong has been a huge difference maker
01:11uh for the cubs and if he can hang on and keep this team afloat maybe maybe this is a
01:17cubs team that
01:18can go deep into the playoffs personally uh you could make a living betting on the cubs collapsing
01:23and losing games outside of the one year they won the world series joe so i'll still bank on something
01:27going wrong with the cubs because it usually does but yeah i mean pca's had a great year there's no
01:33denying that tremendous year uh and kudos it's the good news is the year's not over just yet uh we
01:41got
01:41much more major league baseball to get to
