00:14I never thought this could be my last game for Milan.
00:19Even I have a lot of will and eagerness to come back to play this season.
00:25I didn't feel comfortable, I came back with a mask and everything but I didn't feel comfortable on the pitch.
00:35But I never thought this would be my last game for Milan because deep inside I wanted to continue.
00:45But I needed to also fill other boxes why I need to continue and on the end.

01:29in one word was frustration frustration because we until up the end of the season we were having
01:39great season we were playing well having great results until march or we were still in there in
01:47the fighting for the for the title also for me on another part i was frustrated that i couldn't
01:56help the team in the way that i was doing all season after my injury and yeah this was like
02:06not the best moment despite you know that we didn't reach the goal but you stay with
02:15another things you know which is
02:18uh atmosphere around the club around the dressing room the the way we we behave the way we were
02:28together all team you connect with the players and you feel uh uh great uh respect from from from
02:39everyone on the end of the day the most important is uh is result and we didn't reach our goal
02:47even it
02:47was a lot of positives you you stay with this negativity that happens first few days you were
02:54you were thinking how this happened after a great year that we were having but i couldn't think much
03:04because i had to focus on the national team and on the world cup but after i was
03:12uh keeping in touch from with the people from from milano and i always had even i was focused on

03:20team and the world cup i was always had milan uh in my mind during the whole season i could
03:28sign the
03:28contract even extension of my contract even in december i want to listen and feel my body how i feel
03:38if i still have same anger and desire and passion to continue playing football when club showed me how
03:49much they want me how much want me to be with this new new project this is wanted to hear
03:57and needed to
03:57hear and then after i needed to make decision with with my family and i decided to to stay
04:07because players what you need is confidence and love from the from the club from all society
04:18fans teammates people that work in the club
04:32i know everyone are mentioning my age and how i how some players are 20 years or so younger than
04:41me but
04:41uh these kind of things i don't think about they make me feel younger you know even when you see

04:50playing with 18 years old on 20 years old players it makes you feel uh younger and you want to
04:59compete
05:00against them you want to see where are you uh against them and this is uh what is pushing me
05:09forward
05:10you know to i'm very competitive guy and i still want to compete and have desire to compete
05:24it was really amazing uh better than i could ever expected uh the love from from first day
05:33during the whole season from from fans everywhere on the on the streets and the social medias everywhere
05:41when you feel this love you only what you want to do is give back
05:46uh something to the to the fans to the club and give everything from you to to try to represent

05:57best best possible way and for me the love that i felt from everyone really everyone amazing amazing
06:06i played in the biggest club in the world which is real madrid uh but you always feel that milan

06:16up there you can see when people talking about milan that they talk about milan in in different way than
06:23about other clubs and when you come here you you see you see this uh why milan is is is

06:33big and one of the biggest club in the world the people also that makes club big are people that
06:44working in the club uh fans also i enjoyed every every moment you could see why milan is so so

06:55uh in the world i felt like i i am here like uh many years this is that uh push

07:08yeah it was was great to to feel the have this sensation
07:15for me the love love of the of the of the people of everyone in the club this for this
07:22was most important
07:23for me and then after it's it's it's it's easier to to make decision when you when you are loved

07:31when you feel that everyone wants you to to keep playing for the club this sensation for me this is

07:42right place where i want to be and that's why i'm here
07:51my mission here is to to give everything to help the team to to win things and for me i

08:09we don't need to talk much you know now we need to do things humble work hard be together
08:16when you play for this kind of club the normal thing should be thinking about winning not just
08:24i want to qualify for champions league or i want to be no you have to wish for the for

08:31possible that's why that's why i'm here and my goal is this and for all our club also for new

08:40coaching staff for for the owners we share the same goal about winning and that's why i wanted to come

08:58i would just like to thank them for the support of the last year and support
09:03uh since i arrived here and what i can tell them to to be behind the team to be behind

09:15and from our side i can promise that we will give everything everything
09:24what this club and the fans deserve and hopefully they will be proud of us how we play and how

09:33the for the club and hopefully we will have them there to to push us and to be behind us
