Russia has faced what officials describe as one of the largest Ukrainian drone attacks of 2026, with around 822 UAVs reportedly involved. Moscow was among the key targets, with hundreds of drones allegedly directed toward the capital. A Wildberries logistics warehouse was also reported to have caught fire amid the barrage. Across multiple Russian regions, authorities reported damage and casualties. At the same time, Moscow launched another wave of drones and missiles toward Ukraine, adding to civilian casualties. As attacks intensify on both sides, the conflict is increasingly reaching deeper into each country’s territory, raising fears of further escalation.
