Tories explain how they would tackle illegal traveller sites

James Cleverly, who is the Shadow Housing Secretary, says that leaving the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) would help tackle the issue of illegal traveller sites. He says: “Leaving the ECHR means that people will no longer claim special status because of their ethnicity or their culture.” It comes after the Conservatives have pledged to crackdown on illegal traveller sites.
