00:00a few years and that's the way we have planned the season and the way we want to evolve the
00:03team.
00:06You asked about City, but there's been a lot of changes with the clubs,
00:11new managers, 90 points. How much of an advantage is it to the clubs that have sort of a manager,
00:16particularly for you? We talk about stability, don't we? And you've obviously got that.
00:21That must be an advantage to some of your other clubs in similar positions.
00:26Every club would have their strengths, some because they have won a lot in the last 10 years,
00:30some because of the score, some because of the money that is spent. We know ours,
00:34and ours is related to what we have been producing for the last four or five years
00:40in a really consistent way. But as well, the way that we can be better and that's what we are
00:45focusing. Sustain that consistency and you call it stability, I think. But I don't want to be
00:52stable, I want to be better and more ambitious. That's what we want.
00:56And in terms of this weekend, there's quite a few rule changes for this season.
01:00I was just wondering, when did you sit the players there and talk to them about it?
01:04And how much of an impact will that have on the game?
01:06Well, we've already done it because we have the Premier League and the referees here with us
01:10to explain and go through everything. So in pre-season as well, we had the opportunity to see
01:15and experience some of them. And then we will have to see when the season starts, how this unfolds,
01:21and what is more doable, what is less doable, and if we need to add up something to the game.
01:26Which one do you think will have the biggest?
01:28Well, there are a few. Being able to use the towels is already a big one in the Premier League.
01:32So let's see what we do. Maybe we play with hats and I don't know. So
01:40something else will come up for sure. We know that everybody is paying so much attention to
01:45the details. All the restarts with the countdowns, that will bring something else as well to the game,
01:51a different dynamic, different momentum. So, yeah, very curious to see. I think there are
01:58really good rules because what we're trying to do is just to promote that there is more game time
02:02and the fluidity of the games continues and is better and hopefully that will work.
02:08I'm sorry, George at the back. There's also been a lot of change in Man City,
02:14but they've still got an incredible squad. Do you still think they'll be your biggest
02:18challenger for the Premier League? I mean, we will have a lot of challenges,
02:22I think, looking at the squads, the managers and the clubs that there are. So we know that. I think
02:27we need to focus on ourselves and making sure that we maximise every resource that we have
02:32to give ourselves the best chance. And then, day by day, it is going to be a long, long run.
02:39And just finally, on Enzo, you've obviously had different managerial rivalries, Pep and Jürgen.
02:45How much is all the joy of the new rivalry that's going to be, hopefully, emerging now with Enzo Man
02:51City?
02:52Well, with a few managers as well and some new ones coming to the league that are exceptional as well.
02:58So we know, I think, this league is full of incredible managers, so challenging every week
03:05to prepare games against them. So that will elevate our level, my level for sure, and try to be better.
03:12OK, well, thank you.
03:14Guys, can we turn the cameras off? Just a quick one. The hanging from the crossbar, can we not use
03:17it?
03:17Could be a misinterpretation.
