00:11and the official reveal is scheduled for August 17th.
00:13But now, some new information has appeared from the leakers,
00:16and honestly, this is where things get interesting.
00:18According to a popular Chinese Valorant streamer,
00:20the new bundle's melee could have a card-like design,
00:23and apparently, the melee may not just be a normal weapon that you pull out and swing.
00:26The claim is that when you inspect the melee,
00:28you could potentially change its color and mode.
00:30So basically, the melee could have two different modes,
00:32with the inspect animation being used to switch between them.
00:35If that actually happens,
00:36Riot could be doing something similar to how some of their more interactive melees were.
00:39Except this time,
00:40the transformation would apparently be tied to a card-style design.
00:43And if you look at the artwork included with these leaks,
00:46there's actually something interesting here.
00:47The character is holding what looks like a glowing red card,
00:50while other cards are floating around them.
00:52That doesn't prove the artwork is connected to the actual melee,
00:54but the visual theme definitely matches the idea of a card-based weapon,
00:58and there's another detail I think is worth talking about.

01:02Blue, purple, pink, and red.
01:04So if the leak about the melee being able to change colors is accurate,
01:07these could potentially represent some of the melee's available variants.
01:10Imagine pulling out the melee,
01:12inspecting it,
01:13and then switching from the blue version to purple, pink, or red,
01:16directly through the animation.
01:17That would be a pretty cool gimmick.
01:18But there's an important catch.
01:20None of this has been officially confirmed by Riot.
01:22Right now, we only have the official teaser and leaked information.
01:26So we don't know exactly what the melee looks like,
01:28whether the color switching is real,
01:29or if the two-mode system will actually be part of the final version.
01:33However, we shouldn't have to wait too long.
01:35Riot says the new collection will be revealed on August 17th,
01:38so we'll finally get a proper look at the weapons,
01:40melee, animations, and variants.
01:42And honestly,
01:43if this card-style melee really has an interactive inspect animation,
01:46I think this could be the part of the bundle that gets everyone talking.
01:50Because we've seen plenty of flashy knives in Valorant,
01:52but a melee that actually changes its color or mode through the inspect animation?
