00:05Now, full disclosure, I'm sure Ben Rice is going to eventually hit here.
00:10I'm sure he's going to have a nice end of the season and a great October
00:15because he is a great player, and I do think he's a pillar of the Yankees.
00:18But we know the Home Run Derby has swallowed some players before,
00:22and I understand Ben Rice did not have a good performance at all in the Home Run Derby.
00:26But we've been trying to pinpoint the reason for Ben Rice's struggles in the second half.
00:32He has been awful, awful for an extended period of time.
00:37Now, maybe it was because he was so great in the first half, you might say,
00:41and he was due for some market correction.
00:43Or maybe, just maybe, Ben Rice is another one of these fellas that entered the Home Run Derby,
00:49lost the swing a little bit, and has struggled mightily since.
00:53So perhaps Ben Rice joins the list of those that were cursed by performing in the Home Run Derby.
