00:00The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office announced on Wednesday that Nick Reiner has been charged with the murder of his
00:05parents, Rob and Michelle Singer Reiner, and that he was allegedly lying in wait before attacking them.
00:10With the special circumstance of multiple murders in the February deaths of his parents, Reiner entered a not-guilty plea
00:17to two counts of first-degree murder.
00:19After his 70-year-old mother and 78-year-old father were discovered dead from stabbings in their home in
00:25the affluent Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles on December 14, 2025, he was taken into custody on December 15.
00:33Lying in wait is a new special circumstance added by the grand jury indictment.
00:37Additionally, he is accused of using a knife, a lethal and dangerous weapon.
00:42Following the unsealing of the indictment, Reiner entered a not-guilty plea to two counts of murder, with the special
