09:13Pero yung pressure na yun hindi eh.
09:15Kasi iba yung sa bahay namin.
09:19So kami kailangan namin alagaan yung mga anak namin na ma-feel ng mga anak namin na nandyan kami para
09:24sa kanila.
09:25So yung mga opinion ng mga ibang tao, that's their opinion.
09:29But for us, what matters is doon sa bahay kung ano nangyayari.
09:32You have family, you have family cons.
09:34I mean, you have fam, do you sit down together, discuss things?
09:38Every Sundays, we have our family Bible study.
09:43We do our Bible studies to them, we talk.
09:44Yeah, and then we house everything.
09:47Every day, we have dinner together.

09:52So dinner talaga, kailangan sabay-sabay kami.

10:00Social media has been a very big part of your life.
10:03Ano ang maganda, anong hindi?
10:06Siguro, ang hindi maganda is like, para sa lahat nilang mga tao, yung mga scrutiny, diba?
10:12Yung akala nila, kilala ka nila.
10:14Minsan may sarili silang story or concept sa mga utak nila kung paano kami.
10:19Pero concept nila yun, pero hindi totoo yun.
10:22And minsan, nadadala yung mga ibang tao sa concept nila yun, akala nila gano'n.

10:29Kasi siyempre, tao ka lang.

10:31How do you handle that?
10:33Well, before I used to be so affected by it.
10:35But now, you know, I know what's important is what our kids know.
10:39How are the people that really know us, how they see us daily, you know?
10:44And for me, I think you can't control what other people think.
10:48But you can control how you react to things.
10:51And in contrast to that, social media can become a very beautiful thing.
10:55You can be a blessing to others.
10:56And a lot of times, we've shared stories to our kids of the impact that they have created.
11:01By a simple, there was one time, we went up north to my hometown in Baguio.
11:05And they went to this small clinic, and they were able to put their piercings.
11:09And they tagged them on social media.
11:12And you know what happened?
11:13We found out later on that that girl, the owner of this business, she was going through problems.
11:18And because they tagged them, she started to be able to afford her medications and stuff.
11:23So we shared that, and we said, that's amazing.
11:26That's the blessing of doing social media the right way.
11:29At touching people's lives, alam ba nila na sikat sila, lalo na nung lumalaki?
11:35I think Kendra and Scarlett can conceptualize already being a little different when it comes to attention.
11:40But they always stay grounded because they know na at any moment,
11:46you know, if you don't take care of your image, if you do something wrong, then some people might have
11:51a different opinion of you.
11:52Pero hindi importante sa kanila eh.
11:54It's really not.

11:55And that can be done by ito nga, yung regular conversations.

12:19You have some critics who would say, because the kids now have their own brand partnerships, their endorsements, et cetera,
12:27that you are overexposing the kids.
12:30I will answer that.

12:31So I think that's the biggest misconception about our family.
12:34They say, I think you guys are overexposing your kids, masyadong showbiz.
12:38But come to think of it, they are not part of any TV show.
12:42There is no regular schedule while it involves their time.
12:46They are full-time students, they are full-time athletes.
12:49And if we do have any brand partnerships, isushoot lang namin yun one of the weekends where they are free.
12:55And they are free to do all of their sports, their hangouts with their friends.
12:59Though probably kasi when they do certain posts, nagvaviral yung mga video nila or pictures namin or whatever.
13:06And they think that's already overexposing.
13:07But for me, it's really not.
13:09No, it's the things that people don't know.
13:11Yes.
13:12They are in-schedule the right.

13:13You make sure that the kids are comfortable doing their endorsements, etc.
13:19But as you said, everybody has an opinion about everybody in today's world.

13:29I think there are some times where they would see certain comments on their social media.
13:34I mean, it's a very rare thing, 99.99%, everything's pretty positive.
13:39But then there will be that one comment where they will try to nitpick something.
