00:00We have to go with some of the obvious ones. CoreWeave, up 18% here pre-market, one of the
00:05reasons why the AI trade seems to be back in vogue for today. The stock had been up 26%
00:10this year
00:11through yesterday's close. So this is a cloud computing company reporting its fifth consecutive
00:16quarter of record revenue and a sales backlog of, get this, $104 billion. And the firm also
00:23inked more than $25 billion in new customer commitments after that period ended. So
00:28business is booming at CoreWeave. And we're talking about serving customers like OpenAI,
00:33Meta, Microsoft. It sort of has become a bellwether really for the AI data center boom,
00:38because it's one of the few companies in this space that's actually publicly traded. So it's
00:42a way that we can sort of monitor all of this. And then in keeping with that space, if you
00:48will,
00:48Super Micro, the ticker symbol there, SMCI, is having a good morning. It's up about 9%. And
00:55yesterday, Paul, you and I were talking on Bloomberg Intelligence about Super Micro,
00:59how it's underperforming its rivals. It's down 32% in the past year. But we'll see. Wall Street likes
01:07what it hears today from this server company, reporting sales that nearly doubled in its fiscal
01:11fourth quarter, surging profit, revenue forecast for the current quarter also topping estimates.
01:18So Super Micro has been working really hard to boost margins. It's selling more profitable
01:23products. It's trying to trim costs. So what we did talk yesterday, didn't we, Paul, about
01:29some issues in the C-suite and governance issues. They didn't really address that on the call.
01:33Yeah. Woo Jin Ho, Bloomberg Intelligence called that out for us. So no news there,
01:38but at least the numbers are coming through.
01:39You guys are so inside baseball.
01:40Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. That's how we go.
01:42We had to have listened to Bloomberg Intelligence.
01:44That's exactly right.
01:45It's after surveillance. All right. Then I also brought us Cava because you can never go wrong
01:49with a food company, Mediterranean food company. This stock is up 17% today. Sales rose faster
01:56than expected due to increased traffic and customers buying higher priced protein.
02:00So it's a restaurant?
02:02It's a restaurant. Wait a minute. That's that word protein. You hate the word protein, Paul.
02:05Exactly.
02:06You really do.
02:07That's how the kids roll. That's how the kids roll.
02:08Well, you just want us to say if it's chicken, it's chicken. If it's beef, it's beef. Don't
02:12call it a protein. Anyway, they have a pomegranate glazed salmon, which apparently is a hit.
02:17Okay.
02:20They're behind the Chrysler building. Third Avenue.
02:23Yeah.
02:24Oh, yeah.
02:24And 45th-ish.
02:26Yeah, they're all over the place.
02:27They're all over the place.
02:27I have not yet been to one, but the kids say they're great.
02:30Kids say they're great.
02:31Yep.
02:31And remember, it was hurt initially by that parasitic outbreak because it scared customers off
02:36from greens at a bunch of places like Sweet Greens and Cava.
02:39Cava was not affected by this. I just want to put that out there, but it was sort of
02:42caught up in all of that. And if we have a moment, let me talk a little tax time with
02:47H&R Block. That stock also having a good morning. Up about 11%. The tax preparation company,
02:53we all know it, gave a full-year forecast stronger than expected. Also reported fourth-quarter
02:57results that beat expectations. So good morning for H&R.
03:01Kids meal, Cava, build your own meal, three toppings, three classic pita chips, a side of
03:11a quarter pita chip, small juice or milk. It's like grown-up food for kids.
03:16But how much is it?
03:17Is the question.
03:19Yeah, that's probably the answer.
03:20They don't show the price.
03:21Same. There we go.
03:22There you go.
03:22I don't. It's just, you know, when I was eight, is that what I wanted to eat?
