NAVY SAILOR STRUGGLES THROUGH PEPPER SPRAY TRAINING

WITH VID

By Soban Aslam

Watch as a Navy sailor struggles through the effects of pepper spray after completing an intense OC spray qualification exercise.

The dramatic footage, filmed by Joseph Rivera from Virginia, USA, shows fellow service members attempting to help the sailor wash the pepper spray from his face using a garden hose.

However, as the water hits his skin, the remaining spray appears to reactivate, causing the intense burning sensation to return.

The sailor struggles to keep his eyes open as the pain intensifies, while his teammates calmly coach him through the ordeal, encouraging him to blink and continue rinsing.

Despite the discomfort, he perseveres through the exercise as his fellow sailors support him.

The intense footage was shared online. Joseph said: "A Navy temporary security member had to go through the OC course to get qualified, after completing the course the sailor’s shipmates tried to help him wash the residue off but it reactivates the spray so it burned, hence the reaction."
