01:41Then, within roughly 24 hours, Mamdani addressed the controversy himself.
01:47The mayor described the situation as a miscommunication and said that when Douaji takes the trip, she will travel without
01:54an NYPD detail.
01:56That effectively reversed the initial City Hall position.
