00:00I'm here to tell you about two agency defections in Hollywood that happened this week that have
00:05everybody talking. One is Golden Globe's host Nikki Glaser fired her agency UTA and has jumped
00:12over to rival WME. WME represents comedians including Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler, Amy Schumer,
00:20Chris Rock, and more. And people are surprised because Glaser had been at UTA since 2018 and
00:27they certainly had done wonders for her career, right? She's hosted the Golden Globes two times and
00:32is coming back for a third time. She's gotten multiple Emmy nominations for her latest comedy
00:37special plus an Emmy nomination for her Globes hosting. Noah Wiley of The Pit, who's also up for
00:43a couple Emmy nominations, fired his agency Verve. We've previously reported that Verve has been having
00:50some issues, although sources inside the agency say they are getting things together, doing some
00:55signings. Our own Peter Kiefer had reported that the reason Wiley left was because he wasn't notified
01:02that one of Verve's top executives had left to go to Range Media and that he wasn't notified in as
01:09prompt a way. And we hear he's not going to sign with another agency and is just going to see
01:15how
01:16things go. We also exclusively reported that he has signed a new deal with Warner Brothers Television.
