00:18Launch Pad, was pretty close to the stranded boat, closer even than a small cruise ship
00:23that ultimately came to the rescue. And passengers on that cruise ship were not impressed.
00:28One passenger says there was near-unanimous booing after their captain announced that
00:33Zuckerberg's yacht had been closer but had refused to help. Now, the cruise ship eventually towed the
00:39stranded boat to safety. Zuckerberg's team says there's more to the story. A spokesperson says
00:44the Meta CEO and his family weren't even on board. I'm not sure why that matters, but okay. The bigger
00:51thing, though, Zuck and company claimed the yacht's crew was operating on a different radio channel and
00:55didn't review the Coast Guard's message until the rescue was already underway. The Coast Guard also
01:00determined the stranded boat was not actually in distress, which is weird. So Zuckerberg himself may
01:05have been nowhere near the high seas drama, but his $300 million boat is still taking some heat.
