00:00I was just giving Val her dinner and she was beautifully demonstrating a new developmental
00:04milestone that she has been doing recently here we go off we go off the side where's it gone
00:12so what she's doing is something called casting in other words basically picking up things
00:17and just dropping them off the side any parent will probably remember this here we go
00:20and another one gone um and she hasn't got to the stage yet where she starts looking for the object
00:26um so she literally just drops it off the side and then as far as she's concerned it basically
00:31doesn't exist anymore so she actually grows older she'll start to look for the items that she's
00:36thrown um off her high chair or her pram and this is just a normal part of development and it
00:41kind
00:41of helps babies learn you know play skills um and it's all just part of their their fine motor
00:47development really oh there goes the spoon so I just thought I'd share it because it always makes
00:51me giggle however many times I give her the toys back she chucks them straight back down again
