00:14you know she'll always listen she is you know making some amazing progress and amazing choices
00:23with what she's doing for herself and also for her children oh i'm gonna cry
00:38jazz is the queen she is the queen of a place in the sun you've been doing it for how
00:44long now jazz
00:45oh it's 18 years oh my word 18 years years so it's uh it's a long time but i still
00:54i still do love it
00:55and actually i remember when laura joined the team and you know really wanting to be um welcoming to
01:04her and you know because it was a big deal now we've got so many presenters on the team and
01:09it's
01:09like oh we've got someone else joining up but at the time it was just me and johnny um so
01:15having
01:16an extra person on the team was a big deal so and i just wanted her to feel welcome and
01:21i hope and you
01:22really did you really did and you know what i i love about jazz is obviously she has done the
01:28show
01:28for almost twice as long as i have but she was incredibly welcoming and then in the 10 years
01:34that i since i joined we've kind of gone through the same experiences together haven't we you know
01:39we had two children at the same time and um our children have had the same experiences traveling
01:47together so we've we've been able to kind of like you know bounce things off we know what each other's
01:51been going through whilst we've been traveling on the road with kids
01:58laura and i went through our first pregnancies at the same time our due dates were only a week apart
02:02weren't they yeah yeah i i never i never forget that experience i know what i love to share it
02:12you know what i actually we went we went to a spa didn't we we did we did heavily pregnant
02:20and we had
02:21a spa day together and i had just discovered that my baby was breech and i was really really upset
02:29and i
02:29was trying everything to try and turn the baby so that i could have a natural delivery um because i'd
02:35planned a home birth and every anyway it was all it was all a really big um deal for me
02:41at the time
02:41and so i was researching lots of different ways of trying to get the baby to turn and one of
02:46them
02:46was something called moxibustion which is it's like a chinese um medicine and it basically involves
02:55burning a herb called moxa on different uh energy points like acupuncture points on your body
03:01so laura very kindly yes we're on our spa day
03:09in a hotel room with our dressing gowns on when we did that toe moxa was it toe or ankle
03:15i can't
03:15even remember ankle it was ankle i remember saying to you at the time oh my god can you imagine
03:19if
03:19there was a camera on the wall filming us in our dressing gowns heavily pregnant and me burning
03:24candles on your ankles what people would say i thought she's a good friend you know this this
03:32one's a keeper because there's not many people you could ask to do that for you and they'd go
03:38yeah yeah fine no problem
03:45for me it was that moment and you know just just but you know there's been many times over the
03:53years
03:53when laura has helped me with different things that was the first you know the first really
04:00important thing that i trusted her with and i feel like she's such a good friend that i can trust
04:06her
04:07with um with anything you know i know she would never let me down she would never um break my
04:13trust and and then you know for things like you know even things i would never dream of asking
04:20someone to do laura has offered to do i think like for me like when i i was very much
04:27kind of i was
04:28quite nervous actually a bit about meeting jazz for the first time because obviously a place in the sun
04:32is is a very well-known and much loved show and you know when you when you when you know
04:39it and
04:39you know that jazz is a massive part of it and i was meeting her i was like oh my
04:43god i'm meeting
04:43jasmine what's it gonna be like and you know when i when i met her i was just like she's
04:48she's just
04:49like a wonderful person and you know like like like she said when i joined 10 years ago and i
04:57met her
04:57she was so welcoming and and i think it was from that moment that i thought god i know that
05:01i can
05:02phone her whenever i need you know as much as you say that you you know you can when you
05:08know you
05:09always can lean on me and whatever's going on in our lives you know i would always be very happy
05:16to
05:17help with it do like whether i know that like lovely dog walk like i've you know even though
05:24i don't have my dog anymore um i've still met up with with you and gone through a walk with
05:28you and
05:28the kids and you know she's a she's a shoulder to cry on her you know and she'll always listen
05:35and
05:35and um but yeah i i literally i love jazz to bits i'm you know i she's one of the
05:41nicest most
05:42beautiful people you will will ever meet like she really is and you know jazz knows this but i'll if
05:49there's ever a problem or whatever i'll always i'll always do whatever she needs to you know help her
05:54out and and i know she's she'll do the same for me
06:00like i i know that you know jazz is she's gone through amazing like um you went through this amazing
06:07thing didn't you of like dropping loads of weight and like getting on a real real fitness thing and i
06:11remember just looking at you and thinking god jazz like that's that's amazing like i'm so inspired by
06:17how you've you've done it like your dedication to going to the gym and like i i know how hard
06:24it is
06:25like with two children and you know your your husband's obviously away from home loads you know
06:31filming as well and i know that you are you're juggling it and doing it all and and i know
06:38like
06:38that was it was incredible for you to to to do that and um i just remember thinking like bloody
06:45hell
06:45i'm i'm so inspired by you so for me the time that i've felt most proud of laura is genuinely
06:55right now
06:56because um she is forging ahead with this new chapter of her life and she is you know making
07:09some amazing progress and amazing choices with what she's doing for herself and also for her children
07:19oh i'm gonna cry
07:23but you know having um made some major changes to be able to you know come through and absolutely
07:32take life by the horns and just smash it and doing it and i i'm i'm just like she's so
07:40motivated and doing all this stuff and and and you know and i just see this lovely future
07:47stretching out ahead of you for you and for the children and i'm so proud of you oh thank you

07:56don't i'm gonna cry too and we're both really emotional
