The event is in it's third year, returning from the pandemic, and is hoping to put the pedal to the metal to draw in a car-loving crowd.

All stunts in this piece were done by professionals and should not be attempted.

Finn Macdiarmid went down to the trackside to find out more.

00:22Here at Leeds Castle they've swapped battlements for Bentleys, fireplaces for Ferraris and
00:26Palace Rooms for Porsches, they've brought along plenty of shiny cars to come and look
00:30at and some experts to drive them to.
00:32So the event's called Moat is by the Moat, so it's two days of lots of different cars
00:37that we have here, so lots of classic cars, supercars, cars from TVs and from movies,
00:42we've got military vehicles, we've got emergency service vehicles, there's really, yeah, any
00:46kind of car we have it here, so we have around a thousand cars across the two days or a
00:50thousand
00:50vehicles across the two days, plus music plus entertainment plus F1 carts that the kids can
00:56drive around in, so it's a day full of activity for everyone.
01:00The event has been going on for years but had to stop for the pandemic, so the organisers
01:04wanted to make sure that after some time away they could get right back on track with some
01:08stunts to rev up the excitement.
01:10So Terry and Lee, and we've got Clumsy as well, who's our Ukrainian motorcycle stunt rider
01:18as well.
01:19That's great fun, we all trust each other, we all know each other from having done shows
01:22here before, so I've been having some interesting conversations and throwing oranges, we didn't
01:29expect him to be able to catch the orange today, new gag with celery and we've got a couple
01:34of gags coming up for the later show as well, so really enjoying my time here in Kent today.
01:39Well it wasn't just stunt drivers and supercars enjoying the spotlight, with some iconic cars
01:43from films like Thelma and Louise, James Bond and just about any film set in New York.
01:48Even driving here you get people taking photos driving down the motorway and yeah, no, it's
01:54always a nice, it's a great place to visit and you know, the people here are quite respectful
01:58of the cars, it's nice.
02:00I run the car club, so our club's called Motion Picture Motors which is on top of the taxi
02:06topper, we all have replica film cars or cars that have been in some sort of TV series and
02:12things like that so yeah, we booked in, we were here last year, we thought we'd do another
02:17year here.
02:18So yeah.
02:19So Leeds Castle had a real range of different types of cars, whether you enjoy burning rubber
02:23or browsing Bentleys.
