00:01I almost can't believe it you know my life has been a bit of a crazy journey
00:07you know and I remember the first show 22 years ago the premiere episode and
00:13and to have mine on the show is just it's amazing I can't believe it now Matt
00:20it's it's even people say you can't believe it it's hard to put into words
00:23that somebody that you know you were there when they were born as a person
00:28that is acting right next to you I mean mine was in like she played the chef and
00:38like chef Louie and in the Disney thing and we made her do it at the house once
00:45it was so cute and we were like that's so cute and then she got embarrassed like
00:49I'm never doing it again and she only did it on stage and I would say mine to
00:53chef Louie she would be like no but she was great so to see her mature and see
01:01her become more much more confident much more relaxed I mean this world right
01:09here if you've never done it before is overwhelming mine had never done like me
01:16any episodic but I mean she'd been little when she was on the stage of the first
01:21show so the the the progress that she's made great coach great you know her mom
01:26has been great with her and it's I'm amazed by that I'm amazed by her by her
01:31progress in these two years
01:35I was telling her yesterday that I mean she was I was so cute when she was six
01:40she has kind of a long t-shirt and her hair would be and she'd wake me up and
01:43she'd you know open my eyes you know this is just so cute and then I would say mine
01:48when she's going to the door I said mine don't ever grow up and she goes I have
01:52to daddy that's my job and then she blew me a kiss like and it's like wow my
01:56this overwhelming just it takes my breath no one has ever been able to take my
02:00breath away mine take my breath away
02:05this has all been kind of an inclusive an inclusive journey the first show was you
02:09and this one most definitely is I believe maybe even more than that one
02:13because of the presence of mine and the fact that even for other Latinos who who
02:17are out there Gen Z X whatever trying to produce shows now's the time to present
02:23them because the further this one goes the easier it is for others to come
02:27along in the wake and I think 20 years ago when my first one was there was a lot
02:31of them that were shot down but the market is is more accommodating and the and it's
02:35never been more wide open than right now so I would I would hope that people
02:39take advantage of that I mean I've heard things from people who are alone
02:43watching the show makes them feel better I had somebody told me yesterday that
02:46they were expecting their first child and they were having some issues with the
02:50with the pregnancy and that when she would go to the hospital that that show
02:53was on and they always felt kind of comforted by it I had a little kid in my
02:57elementary school the first year I went to go take presents who said to me
03:00you're real I didn't think you were real that's yeah so so even men you know even
03:08Latinos when they would compliment you or say you know my me wants a car can't
03:12afford it but we're always fighting but we watch your show and then you know for
03:15that time like she's my again I would consider the high the day that the first
03:27show had the hundredth episode I got my star in the walk of fame I think
03:31everything was really kind of great then and when we were divorced and I was
03:36still doing the talk show I had a pretty hard year and I would consider between
03:42the end of nine and all of ten and even though I was doing that show to be a very
03:49very difficult year where you know I was used to being alone but now you're you're
03:54alone and and you've destroyed your family kind of so it was much as much I was a very
04:04abusive to myself I don't think anybody really kind of knows but yeah I was
04:09very tough on myself I'm glad I made it out of there
