00:12were back on stage on Friday for the UK debut of Hill's Diaspora Calling Festival.
00:19Hill founded the festival as a celebration of the music, culture and creativity of the global African diaspora.
00:28I think to me, what I thought about was when we started, and this was the mission from the beginning,
00:33and sometimes, you know, maybe you get off the path a little bit, but you've got to reclaim that and
00:37get back on it.
00:39So that was a big deal for us, making up the time, that's right.

00:50Hill and Jean performed all of their landmark album, The Score, as it marks its 30th anniversary year.

01:22It really made me want to dive deeper into consciousness.
01:25Hill says the festival came from a desire to channel the resourcefulness and brilliance of the African diaspora.
