00:25okay all right so let's go so you're gonna fold your paper in half I have purple I'm using purple
00:36blue and black I have my jewels already this stuff already done so that it can go faster
00:43it's just gonna cut out shapes like this on a piece of paper and then you just add your jewels
00:49you can
00:50get these jewels from Michaels Amazon eBay 99 cent store in your area okay so um you're gonna need
01:01some glue you're gonna need a hole puncher you're gonna need some of some cut up pieces of string
01:08okay and your scissors and you're gonna need a stapler okay so let's start cutting so there I
01:19cut my shape I'm gonna start cutting my shapes so you just start cutting okay start cutting keep it cut
01:35as straight as you can keep it cut just gonna cut it straight okay just like that just keep cutting
01:46straight see how I'm cutting it straight cut it straight cut it straight just like that keep going you keep

02:06okay okay all right so then when you fold it over it's gonna look like
02:16like that right okay so now let's put these things on oh first I'm gonna make the holes and the
02:31hole puncher
02:32we're gonna make some holes down here on the bottom down here so I'm gonna make them down here on
02:39the bottom
02:39because we're gonna put the strings there so I'm gonna do one two three four five six seven eight nine

03:07we're gonna put these on and tie okay
03:18yes I know it's taking a little bit of time this tutorial is takes a little bit of time but
03:26it's good it's fun
03:27for kids love this they love hands-on things to do in arts and crafts okay this is gonna be
03:36beautiful
03:36guys you're gonna see you're gonna love it you're gonna say hey let me try this with my kid okay
03:46and I love making things and doing arts and crafts you know I like making jewelry I love doing that
03:57it's so much fun
04:02and so we just keep going so we get all of them through and tie okay get them all on
04:13and get them all tied

04:20I what I like about my projects is also I try to keep them simple I love to keep them
04:27simple for children
04:28because kids get frustrated easy when they feel like they can't do it so you just have to tell
04:37them you can do it and show them how to do it and you let them do it and even
04:43if they do it and they
04:44make a mistake you could say okay you made a mistake but it's still beautiful you know don't say oh
04:51you
04:51messed up you made a mistake you did it wrong it looks ugly you never do that to a child
04:57because
04:58words hurt you never heard a child like that you know you just tell them it looks beautiful it didn't
05:06come out right but it's special because you did it your way that's what you tell them and that way
05:12they'll feel good about what they did or what they what they just created you understand and I know this
05:23because
05:23I this is what I do I work with kids and I do teach courses on how to make jewelry
05:30and how to make arts
05:32and crafts and crafts and this is fun the kids they love this you know
05:45we have three more to go three more strings to put on
05:57and this is just gorgeous take your time and do it you know you don't have to be rushing and
06:05stuff
06:07just take your time do it good so that it can come out right I have two more to go
06:23and then what's gonna happen when we put on these things right here we're gonna put it right over
06:30this so that you don't see that that's how we're gonna do it we're gonna place it right over that
06:37then that way you're not gonna be able to see it okay got the last one
06:44we have the last one
06:59all right it's the last one we're putting on
07:02all right now we tie it
07:16okay now what we do is we're gonna put glue
07:28right on top and we're gonna put this right on top of it like that as much as we can
07:38make it fit just
07:39make these lines look straight so that this part right here lays down like that
07:49you want it to lay down like nice and flat okay and let's put the glue
08:00be generous remember what i said about being generous with the glue
08:06you want to be very generous don't be stingy with the glue
08:20just put it on like that
08:29and it's gonna go we're gonna put it right on top just like that
08:42bring this on over to the edge and we're just gonna lay it right on top of there just like
08:50that see
