00:05Akshay, you know, very curious to know where were you? And what were you doing when you
00:10got a call saying congrats? You're now officially a part of toxic? Oh, man. Um, Namaskara, everyone.
00:18It is such an honor to be here. Boss. What a trailer boss. Unbelievable. Oh, my God. Um,
00:26it's hard to talk about where I was. I first have to mention what this film has meant to me
00:32before I
00:33even get there. One is to be a part of a big prestigious project like this with such wonderful,
00:39respected actors, huge actors, huge star cast. But one is to have a whole experience while making
00:46the film. And I learned so much about myself. I learned so much about my craft and boss. I'm just,
00:53I'm wildly inspired by him. Um, you know, as KV and sir said, uh, all the wonderful things about
00:59him. It's so true. And I just watching him just to be a part of this film and have the
01:04honor of
01:04watching him and learning from him has been enormous for me. And Geetu ma'am has taught me to believe
01:10in
01:10myself in a way that I don't think I ever could. So it feels like this film was meant to
01:14be. It was
01:15part of my journey as a human being to be a part of this film. It's not just this big
01:19glamorous movie
01:20and I get to be a part of it. You, you gave me a gift that I can't ever replace
01:24ever. So thank
01:25you so much. Thank you. Where was I when I got this call? Um, I remember I had, I had
01:31sent,
01:31I was a big fan of Geetu Mohandas. I had seen, uh, Liar's Dice. Um, there's a film I made
01:36called
01:36Gurgaon, very small film like Liar's Dice by the same producer, Ajay Rai. And Ajay had shown me this film
01:42on a laptop in 2016. And I said, please introduce me to this director. If there's one gift you can
01:50give me is introduce me to this director. He never did. Um, and I never did anything. I never got
01:54a
01:55number. Then I saw Mutun and I was like, man, this person is a genius. And then years later,
02:01somebody called me and said, Geetu ma'am would like to hear how you sound in English. So I said,
02:05okay, well, Geetu Mohandas wants to hear how I sound in English. All right. So she said,
02:11it was just an audio thing, but it was a scene from the Godfather. I think it was Mo Green's
02:15character. And I was like, if she's going to watch this, I'm going to act as well as I possibly
02:20can.
02:20And I did this whole thing and I sent it to her. And then like three, four days later,
02:24Akshay Bansal, who manages my work, he called me and said that she liked it. And I just remember
02:29like screaming in the room, right? Because it's like, I didn't know what the film was. I mean,
02:33I didn't even know boss was in it or it was toxic or nothing. I just knew that she liked
02:37it. That's
02:37all that mattered to me. So one of the most memorable days of my life, and this film is
02:41probably the most memorable experience of my life. So thank you so much. What an honor. I'm so,
02:45so, so grateful. Thank you very much, Akshay. Thank you. Thank you. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
02:52our next guest is probably one of the nicest people in the movie business. He's one of Karnataka's
02:58most amazing actors.
