00:38the so-called Shield of the Americas, which is an alliance of governments stretching from the U.S.

00:49The U.S. has become increasingly involved in Latin America during Trump's second term in the White
00:54House. It has carried out strikes on alleged drug-trafficking boats coming from the region
00:59and launched an operation to capture the Venezuelan leader, Nicolas Maduro.
