00:00Hi everybody, it's me. You can win these AirPods Pro. We're going to announce the winner on the 1st of
00:07October.
00:08So to be in with a chance of winning, just subscribe, comment, sub, like the video and good luck. I'll
00:16see you in a bit. I love you. Bye.
00:21Our next contestant is Tim, a junior chef from Manchester, who is hoping to win over the judges with his
00:28signature dish.
00:30Welcome to MasterChef. You look like you mean business. What are you going to be making for us today?
00:33So today I'm going to be using some of the finest ingredients, the finest cheese, using some smoked ham, which
00:41is 20 days cured, I think.
00:44Finished off with a delicious tomato jus wrapped in a fine, fine Italian bread.
00:52You have 15 minutes. Off you go.
00:54It's not very crispy, but it's good bread. Bang. There we go.
00:59Then we take our finest cured ham. Beautiful.
01:04We then get the finest cheese that money can buy.
01:10Just tears off.
01:11We have 30 seconds left. Okay.
01:13Yes, chef. Nearly done.
01:15We're going to be finishing off with a beautiful tomato jus.
01:20There we go.
01:21Tim's starter is an Italian flatbread with ham, cheese, finished off with a tomato jus.
01:31This obviously hasn't worked because you just didn't know how to do it.
01:33Yes, chef.
01:34You didn't know what you were doing, but still gave it a shot.
01:36Yeah. I know what I can do, but I just feel like I was rushed for time.
01:39But I think there's something about you and you'll be able to pick up as you go.
01:42I'll pull it back in the next round. Sorry.
01:45I'm very excited to see what it is you're going to cook for us.
01:47I'm going to take some really soft noodles, chives, a little bit of pure organic chicken breast.
01:54But we'll see what happens.
01:55Sounds experimental to me. Let's cook.
01:58The main ingredient is water.
02:01Brilliant.
02:02How long have I got?
02:0315 minutes.
02:03Right. So what we're going to do, wait for the water.
02:11What's your plan?
02:12Just got to wait.
02:14Why do you want to show us Austrian food?
02:18My mum says it's her recipe, so I can't wait to pass this on.
02:23You have to be really careful when doing this.
02:27It's not as easy as it looks.
02:29If you go too much, you can really ruin it.
02:32The water can get into places where you just don't want it.
02:35We've got a little bit of sweet corn in there, some peas, we've got chives.
02:40It's beautiful.
02:41You happy with it?
02:42It's a signature dish.
02:43Nothing really beats this.
02:45I think it's ready for the main ingredient.
02:47Tell me what it is you're doing here, please.
02:49I didn't want to tell you this at the beginning because this is a secret.
02:54Oh, look at that.
02:56I think you're going to love this.
02:59It's like a party.
03:00In your mouth and everyone's invited.
03:03Tim's signature dish is Oriental noodles accompanied by chicken and mushroom infused
03:08with a soy sauce.
03:10This is a job well done.
03:13Beautifully cooked.
03:14Oh.
03:15I'm really pleased.
03:16Well done.
03:17I knew you were going to enjoy it.
03:18We'll see you next round.
03:19So, for my dessert, just going to keep it really simple with a little bit of a twist.
03:24It's Tony Tim's temptation.
03:26Very curious.
03:27I think you're going to really enjoy this.
03:39And that's it.
03:40Tim's dessert is a chocolate compote accompanied by chocolate frog heads.
03:49You've packed a lot into this dish.
03:50I find the whole thing absolutely delightful.
03:54I'm so happy that I've enjoyed it.
03:56It was really good feedback.
03:58Really good feedback.
04:00I just hope I can make it through to the next round.
04:03.
04:03.
04:03.
04:03.
04:03.
04:06.
04:06.
04:07.
