00:05Around about two o'clock this afternoon we've had an issue with the power supply
00:09at our Manchester Rail Operating Centre which controls the signalling across a
00:13wide area of the northwest particularly around Manchester and out towards
00:17Liverpool. This has affected the signalling system at that point when the
00:21incident happened all the trains were brought to the stands safely however it
00:26has meant that we've been unable to run trains on a wide part of the network in
00:31the northwest this afternoon.
