02:39Fancy outfits, highly choreographed, pedestrian teens.
02:42It's now become a global phenomenon.
02:46In 2023, six of the top 20 best-selling artists in the world were K-pop.
02:53And 90 billion streams were by K-pop idols.
02:56Blackpink have been awarded MBEs by King Charles.
03:00Esper sold out the O2.
03:02Seventeen have taken Glastonbury by storm.
03:06And one of the biggest K-pop festivals is SM Town with 120,000 fans.
03:13That is the boys' first stop on their K-pop adventure.
03:22We left Heathrow, it was rainy, grey and cold.
03:26And we got on a plane, 14 hours later, it was just like, boom, here you are.
03:37I don't think I've realised how upscale and how big it is.

03:43I think that was our first taste where we went, okay, we can see what we're getting ourselves into.
03:51There are about 200 million fans worldwide, and the industry is estimated to be worth $5 billion.
