00:00This is the Garmin Circa Smartband. After weeks and months of rumours, it's finally here.
00:05The Garmin Circa is Garmin's screenless fitness tracker. It's rival to trackers like the Whoop
00:10and the Google Fitbit Air. It's packing Garmin's Elevate V4 heart rate sensor, a tactile button on
00:15the side for easy starting and stopping of workouts, automatic activity tracking, and 10
00:20days of battery life. It looks good in four colours. Size-wise, it's in between the Whoop 5.0 and
00:25the
00:25Fitbit Air, and it's mostly subscription-free. Like Google Fitbit Air, you can get along just fine
00:31on the free tier, but certain features, like Garmin Coach, are locked behind Garmin's Kinect Plus
00:36paywall. I wanted to know how accurate it was, so compared it to the Polar H10 electrical heart rate
00:41monitor during a short workout at this launch event, and it cleaved very closely to the Polar's data,
00:46with both devices showing just 2 BPM difference in my average heart rate. I'll be testing it fully
00:51over the next week, so stay glued to TechRadar's socials for my full review.
