00:16But there are a few that really draw money or box office attractions and are fabulous for the wrestling business.
00:23Because my father was Dory Funk Sr., I felt the pressure that I had to perform and be a great
00:29wrestler myself, following in his footsteps.
00:32Their dad wasn't actually the one who really trained them the most because they were on the road wrestling, you

00:37My father trained me.

00:39And he would cut loose with the language.
00:42If I did something wrong, I'd be told in no uncertain terms.

00:46If I did something right, he didn't say anything.

00:50So it was a tough way to go through the business, but you learned it was one of the most
00:55life-turning events.
00:58That's my father.

01:00And that's the Kineski match.
01:02That's the night I won the bill.
01:04It was really thrilling.
01:07And my father was in my corner.
01:10But that night, he came to me in the ring and said, I just want you to know that you've
01:16done a hell of a job.
01:17And that meant as much to me as winning the NWA World Championship.
