Transcript
00:00All right, now let's take a look at the U.S. market heat map which provides a visual snapshot of
00:04the S&P 500 stocks across different sectors and also industries.
00:07And on this map, the size of Facebook represents the company's market capitalization, meaning the larger the box, the bigger
00:14its market capitalization.
00:15So the stocks are grouped by sectors, giving investors a quick overview of market sentiment and helps identify which sectors
00:22and companies are actually reading the market and which ones are actually under pressure.
00:27So green means gains and trading higher, whereas the rate indicates losses and trading lower.
00:32So I'm going to start with AMD first under the semiconductor sectors.
00:37We can see that it's green color, so it was increased by quite a significant number here, which is 7
00:43% and now standing at 518.58.
00:48And similarly to other companies under the same sector, which is NVIDIA, we can see that it was up by
00:542.56%.
00:56And meanwhile, the Broadcom was increased as well by 6.61%.
01:01But I have the latest update for AMD Advanced Micro Devices, where the forecast quarterly revenue above Wall Street estimates
01:09on Tuesday.
01:10Banking on strong demand for its chips from massive data center capacity expansions to power AI technologies.
01:17Yet its shares fell more than 7% in extended trading, suggesting that investors were looking for an even stronger
01:24outlook after the stock more than doubled this year's spurred on AI optimism.
01:29So an analyst at eMarketer Jacob Byrne, AMD is now in a similar position to NVIDIA and the hyperskillers, where
01:36investors are looking for evidence that AI infrastructure investments will continue translating into accelerating returns.
01:43So that's the latest update on AMD.
01:45And I'm going to move on to Oracle.
01:48Let me see if there's Oracle here.
01:51So Oracle, if we can show that, let me search for Oracle.
01:58But the latest update, if I can share to you the Oracle, it was green by, increased by 2.74
02:04% and now standing at the 145.74, the level.
02:10And the same goes to Microsoft, show a green color as well.
02:12This is under the software infrastructure sector.
02:15And Microsoft was up by 1.06% and now standing at the level of 492.81%.
02:22And the latest update on Oracle, we can see the cloud computing giant Oracle Corporation is on the cusp of
02:28junk grade credit rating and its shares have tanked as the artificial intelligence hyperscaler becomes the fall guy of investors'
02:36concerns over the sector's debt-fueled spending bench.
02:39And the U.S. multinational is an outlier among top software firms racing to buy chips and build computing power
02:47to leapfrog the AI boom, forced by its limited cash reserves to borrow heavily and undertake massive long-term leases.
02:55So the extent of the splurge came to light in June when Oracle's results for the fiscal year ending in
03:01May 2026 showed its free cash flows were negative.
03:05The bulk of its revenue was spent on capital expenditure and it had signed roughly $260 billion of data center
03:12leases, some starting next year.
03:14And the declosures rattled investors and put Oracle squarely in the crosshairs of ratings agencies, which have long warned about
03:21the company's heavily leveraged balance sheet.
03:23And last but not least, Amazon, meanwhile, when others show green colors, Amazon showed red color 2.232, decreased by
03:312.32% and now standing at 277.42%.
03:36So Amazon, a U.S. appeals accord on Tuesday, overturned a ruling that had temporarily brought perplexity from using its
03:43AI-powered agentic shopping tools on Amazon's platform.
03:47In a novel legal dispute, the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals determined that Amazon was
03:53unlikely to succeed on its claim that perplexity's AI agents violated a federal computing hacking law.
04:00The ruling is the first by a federal appeals court to address whether AI agents acting on behalf of users
04:06can legally access online platforms, a question with broad implications for the fast-growing field of agentic AI tools that
04:13can browse, shop and transact across the web.
