00:07Vaccines, top band, you don't have all this layers and synths, it's just proper rock and roll, proper rock and
00:15roll, and it's in your face, and you either take it or leave it, and that's the vaccines, so, vaccines.
00:25If you want to come back, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright, if you want to come back, if you
00:31want to come back, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright, if you want to come back, if you want to
00:37come back, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright.
01:03Yeah this is the first time sort of hitting the road properly, done one or two things
01:09but we're touring straight pretty much for the rest of the year now, on and off.
01:14Everywhere we've gone the rooms been full, the rooms haven't been very big, they've been
01:18full which is encouraging and today is a pub in Sheffield and tomorrow is an actual venue
01:26in Glasgow.
01:27We're always surprised to see anybody show up and come see us and I don't have a clue
01:32whether we've got any fans or not but there have been people coming down to see us, something
01:37sparked the curiosity I presume you know.
01:39We always collect postcards of every city that we play in so we can have a little record
01:45of where we've been and what we've been up to.
01:49Yeah it was funny last time we were in Sheffield which was a couple of months ago, we just couldn't
01:54find one and I don't know why because it's glorious.
02:03Well I don't want to wake up in the morning but I've got to face the pain.
02:10That's what all the friends I do not like as much as you say.
02:32But if you want to come back it's alright, it's alright, it's alright if you want to come back
02:45to me.
02:50Well I don't want to see you with another guy but the fact is that I'm in.
02:56That's what all the friends I do not like as much as you say.
03:02Tonight we're in Captain's Rest which is a little venue in the West End of Glasgow to see
03:07the vaccines.
03:09They've got their music which is good to kind of dance to and you can easily listen
03:12to it in any sort of situation and they're well dressed and it's nice to look at.
03:17There's quite a lot of people who think they're like the next Nirvana when they're not.
03:27Certain bands just have tunes that catch people instantly and I think they've got that.
03:31Yeah hype is always a hindrance but for some bands I think interest is a different thing.
03:36I wouldn't have said it's hype so far.
03:38I think it's interesting.
03:39I think people just like what they hear.
03:40Actually I think the fact that so many of the crowd at this point in time were singing
03:45do you want to come back for 20 minutes before the band actually came on is quite incredible.
04:04The locals are quite friendly aren't they?
04:07Yeah that's what I just said to someone because I've been told that they were such enthusiasts
04:11I thought if they're cold tonight then we're doing something wrong.
04:16and they're not even told.
04:19The locals are very young.
04:24They're still young.
04:24They're still young.
04:29They're just young.
04:32They're still young.
04:42It's just a little.
04:43They're still young.
04:43They're not a little.
04:45I'm a little.
04:51I came out the night because I wanted a drink because I'm Scottish and Scottish people like
04:56a drink. Ended up in the captain's dress, walked down some stairs, hear a band, rah rah rah
05:01rah, here we are. I've got to be honest, best band I've heard. Why? Best band I've heard
05:08ever. Ever? Well, actually I've seen Oasis at Hampden and they were good, but live in a
05:17compact gig. Aye, brilliant, brilliant, aye, brilliant. What do they call it again? Vaccines,
05:28that's right, the vaccines.
05:58Did you see him? He, um, he was just, he was like, he was like stood there with, um, a
06:03can
06:03appear just going like that. Yeah, that is what you want, yeah. When I saw that, I laughed,
06:12I was just like, that's amazing.
