00:13We wanted to stay true to the characters, but we also wanted to create storylines that

00:28The surgeries and the challenges are really what make the game awesome.
00:33I love the fact that you get to perform surgery.
00:35To me that was the most interesting and kind of exciting thing.
00:38What we tried to do in the surgery sequence is to really have the Wiimote be all of your
00:43surgical tools.
00:46The controls for the DS are pretty intuitive.
00:48We obviously wanted to leverage the stylus, so we have a lot of use of the stylus in
00:52surgeries.
00:53It's actually, it feels like a tactile scalpel.
00:55It's really fun.
00:57I mean, first of all that you can perform all these surgeries and you can actually do them
01:00and you can be like the interns and you can learn the process.
01:04But also you can put people together and decide fates of characters.
01:09Where the people get to decide what everybody does and it's kind of fun to let other people
01:13decide what the characters do.
01:15Every single path that you go down, there's a whole domino series of events that start
01:19to happen.
01:20You can be Izzy and make her personal decisions, you can be Meredith, you can decide what you
01:25want Meredith to do, whether to answer Derek flirtatiously or, you know, if you want her
01:30to play hard to get.
01:32There's a lot of, you know, what if situations.
01:37You finally get to be Meredith or you finally get to be Christina.
01:40You finally get to figure out what, you know, what you'd do if you were Derek.
01:43That's interesting.
01:46A very, very high stakes, high pressure medical situation occurs at Seattle Grace.
01:54It allows very limited access from the outside world and people that you don't expect to be
02:02deeply affected in a surprisingly traumatic way are.
02:05Sir, please take a step back right now.
02:08We have characters who get sick, main characters who get sick.
02:12It's a very realistic, high stakes situation, very much like many of the ones we've had on
02:18the show.
