00:30A recent poll conducted by Poll in Europe across all 27 member states found that 49% support Kyiv joining

00:46Support is particularly strong in Spain, where 65% back Ukraine's membership.
00:53Over the past four years, Madrid has trained more than 9,000 Ukraine military personnel,
00:59and in 2026 it announced a 1 billion euro military aid package for Ukraine.
01:05Italians also broadly support Ukraine's accession, with 52% in favour,
