00:53much. We had great slots at Georgia and Miami. I had Xavier Streppo and Zachary at Branch, so we had
00:58two great slot receivers where I didn't really need to be in the slot, but I'm very comfortable
01:02moving in there and getting the coverage I want. We tend to think of those guys as smaller
01:05guys, but it doesn't have to be that way. Yeah. I mean, I see you line out there quite
01:10a bit. Yeah, yeah. It's fun, and like I said, whether that's digging out a safety, I'm closer
01:14to the safety to go spring out Chase Brown or whatever running back is in, and it just
01:18helps out the whole offense. Kind of quiet early on, first couple practices, but it looks
01:25like you're getting in the fold. Yeah, we're just building on, just day by day, trying not to
01:29go back, try to just move forward as possible, just get up every day, practice, put everything
01:34on there, ball find me, and just know what I got to do. Sorry to be the ninth guy to

01:51I mean, it looked like a Section 4 Class AA final rebound. Yeah, 607, man. I mean, Dax,

02:05on? I mean, are you trying to use your body? Yeah, he's a physical guy. He can get his hands
02:09on you very well, and he's got good lateral movement. Just trying to get an edge. I mean,
02:13our corners and DJ Dax and DJ Ivy even, they're all, we got lanky corners, even Takario. These
02:20guys are lanky guys with long arms. You can't run down the middle of these guys. So, I love the
02:24work we get with each other. We get each other better, and I can't wait for them in the season.
02:28I know it's only one catch, one play, but how big is it for you? Yeah, it's definitely a confidence
02:32mover, having that trust and flag to put it out there, and I just got to keep building days.

02:39When you high point a ball like that, is it 100% athleticism and instinct, or is there
02:44technique to doing that? Yeah, you got to have great, it's your eyes at the end of the day. If

02:53There's just a lot of it that goes into just trusting where you're at, trusting that the
02:57quarterback's going to put you where you need to be, and just securing the catch.
03:00It's not really something you can practice, is it? It just has to happen in the course of practice?
03:04Yeah, yeah. You're coming down and contest the catch. There's things you can do, but just trying
03:08to lock into it much. Really, it's the hit in the ground is where that ball can come out free,
03:13so just making sure once it's in there, squeezing it as tight as possible and securing it.
03:16You talked about being the luckiest guy drafted. What was Jamar and Tee's message to you when
03:20you got here? Jamar and Tee, every day, they tell me, stay confident. Play with confidence.
03:25It's going to come your way. Just stay confident, and that's how I'm going to go about camp,
03:29just being as confident as possible. If I make a mistake, make it at 100 miles per hour,
03:33and bounce back the next day, get in that film room, and get better every day.
