00:00que ele tem que ter um primeiro a-t-fim, mas ele tem que ter que ter que ter a
00:01-hola, Calum
00:02Hedge, Janoshtiak e Moore.
00:05Então, a single-file express train, of course, 9-11 Cups, leads a-way, then, to
00:10the green flag, Cole Kleck, from Calum Hedge, then Janoshtiak, then Sabra Kuk, and
00:15Paul Bocuse is already under big pressure on his left-hand side, from Jarrett Thomas,
00:20and right behind him, from Aaron Johnson, Bocuse under real heat, Johnson, ooh, nudges
00:26into the side of Thomas as they approach the first corner, and Cole Kleck,
00:30he's made a great getaway, Thomas then slots in behind Paul Bocuse, into
00:34sixth position, Bocuse in fifth, but here comes Johnson, he knows he's
00:38going to make a move, he's given good racing room from Jarrett Thomas, and
00:41then makes contact, Johnson wheel-to-wheel contact with Jarrett Thomas,
00:45Johnson's door comes flying open, the left-hand door comes open, hopefully
00:48he's able to get it shut there, is Johnson, but that has caused Jarrett Thomas
00:52to get it shut down, and now Alan Metney in the 99 iFly car, ooh, is
00:56coming through, but the number 68, Chris Belomo, hard into the wall, and
01:00surely that's going to trigger a full-course yellow, indeed it has, and
01:04Chris Belomo off the road, on the run-through, from, well, through turn
01:09four, which is barely a turn, it barely registers, but Belomo hard into
01:14the wall, just past the Sargento bridge, and understandably, we're
01:22going to have to go under full-course yellow, once again, and this is not
01:27good news for Aron Johnson, who needs time on track to try and make moves
01:31forward, and Cole Kleck, he'll have to do it all over again.
01:37Well, that was nip-and-tuck stuff all throughout the pack, and Belomo got
01:41the worst of that one, unfortunately, that was pretty heavy impact with the
01:45concrete wall, our first thoughts are with Chris, hope to see him out of that
01:49car here, and soon, best finish this season, a third on the street course at,
01:54uh, at Long Beach race one earlier this year, he's a look for us at what
01:59happened to Belomo, to the back of the shot, and he just spears off to the
02:03right, and as I said, that's a pretty hefty hit to that concrete wall.
02:08It appeared that he may have got into a little bit of a tangle, but Alain's
02:13scowls were there, as they, just as they went under the Sargento bridge, the
02:18AMR safety crew are there rapidly, as always, to try and help Chris out.
02:24The, uh, door netting has come off, and Chris getting out of the car under his
02:31own power, which is always wonderful to see, up on his feet, I'm sure, very
02:36shaken, yeah, a little bit, uh, of a ginger paste, certainly not the pace that
02:40Tyler Maxson was pacing through the paddock at, um, but great to see him
02:44relatively okay after, yeah, that's very, very quick through that part of the
02:48racetrack.
02:52And I do think that, yeah, Alain Scowls may not have seen Chris Belomo moved
02:57across to the left-hand side, and Belomo was there, they tangled, and round he
03:02went, and just one of these really unfortunate racing deals that can just
03:07happen so, so quickly.
03:10It can.
03:11And, you know, it's interesting you mentioned turn four really doesn't
03:14register as a turn, certainly when you look at the track map, but inside of the
03:18race car, especially in a big pack like that, just that little curvature in the
03:24road when you've got cars in front of you, cars behind you that are obstructing
03:28your view somewhat, that, that can cause a pinch point, and that might have been
03:32part of the story there with those two cars coming together.
03:35Both are veterans of single-make Porsche racing, Scowls, and Belomo, both for
03:40that matter, coming out of Sprint Challenge and graduating up to Carrera Cup.
