iMemories review: https://habitcast.com/digitize

Are your VHS tapes, film reels and photos sitting in a closet because you cannot play them? Are you worried about tape shedding and film fading while you wait? In this iMemories review I sent a mixed box of tapes, film reels and photos, then saw my files appear in the app just under three weeks later.

The iMemories digitization service starts with a SafeShip Kit, a crush proof box with water proof bags and shock resistant bubble cushions. It accepts 8 millimeter, Super 8, 16 millimeter, Betamax, VHS, VHS C, Hi 8, Digital 8, MiniDV, MicroMini, prints, slides and negatives. You get digital masters you can save for free, with USB drive, DVD and Blu ray choices too.

It suits families with mixed boxes of old recordings and photos, especially when there is no working VCR around. It also suits anyone who wants to watch original recordings on a TV, tablet, laptop or phone, or text a clip to a brother.

Your originals leave your house, and streaming in the app has a Cloud subscription attached. Saving the files on your own drive is a step you will want to take.

What you'll learn:

✔ Whether the SafeShip Kit protects your originals during transit
✔ Which tape, film and photo formats can go in one box
✔ How soon your files show up in the app
✔ The down sides other iMemories Reviews leave out
✔ How to keep a copy of your digital masters on your own drive

Thanks for checking out this iMemories review.
