Does a fan leave you with warm air in your face? Can a personal cooler make a difference once the room gets seriously hot? In this EvaChill review I ran it every day for two months.

Unlike a regular fan that pushes warm air around, the Evachill portable cooler pulls room air through a cartridge that stays soaked in water. As water evaporates from the cartridge, it takes heat out of the air before it reaches you. It claims up to twenty five degrees in dry air, runs on seven and a half watts through a USB port, and has no hose or window kit.

It suits renters who cannot drill or fit a window kit, plus anyone who wants cool air while sitting close to the outlet. You can plug it into a wall plug, laptop, or power bank, then choose an intensity setting. One tank fill can run up to nine hours, so it can stay on through the night.

If the air is humid, the cooling effect is much less noticeable. The personal cooler only cools the immediate area in front of it, and the effect drops off a few feet away.

✔ Why dry air and humid air feel so different
✔ How long one tank fill can run through the night
✔ What EvaChill Reviews leave out about cooling a whole room
✔ Whether seven and a half watts works from a laptop or power bank
