00:00But let's talk about the league because I want to talk about LAFC.
00:03We saw Sonny have a less than ideal World Cup with South Korea.
00:08But now he came back to LAFC and he's been on a heater, scoring, assisting,
00:14and basically helping LAFC put 12 goals in a matter of three games, Camila.
00:19They are climbing positions.
00:21They're in second place of the Western Conference, right below Vancouver,
00:25that has two games in hand and is still in first place.
00:28Is this LAFC waking up for the second half of the season and trying to win it all?
00:33I definitely think so.
00:34I mean, based on the last couple games that we've been watching,
00:36it looks like a completely different team.
00:38Like I mentioned before, a lot of these players like Sonny are coming back
00:41with something to prove from the World Cup.
00:43And I mean, I feel like he was getting a lot of criticism, a lot of backlash
00:47earlier in the season, pre-World Cup.
00:49And I think it definitely affected his mental game,
00:51but we're seeing an entirely different person.
00:54And I think his energy and his support is bleeding onto the rest of the team
00:58in a great way.
00:58It's very important.
00:59We saw him in the first game back after the World Cup break,
01:03you know, producing a penalty kick.
01:06And he decided not to give, not to take it, give the ball to Buanga,
01:10because I think that he didn't want to score his first goal of the season
01:13via the penalty.
01:14And he was right because not too long after, he scored a banger of a goal
01:19and he didn't keep doing it.
01:20So I'm very excited to see that.
01:21Now, let's talk about the Eastern Conference, Camila,
01:24because Nashville and Inter Miami are neck-to-beck, nominating.
01:29But we have a newcomer that I wasn't expecting,
01:32and that's New England and Chicago.
01:33Wow.
01:34And wait a moment because Chicago is about to hit up with Legovandowski.
01:38He created an opportunity that he didn't even need to touch the ball.
01:41He just pressed the keeper and the keeper.
01:43And boom.
01:43And he, like, freaked out.
01:45Yes.
01:46Absolutely.
01:46This is what great players do.
01:48And I'm so excited to see what he adds into this league, right?
01:51I mean, Messi alone gave this new life to Miami.
01:55So having a top-notch and a top-quality player like that means everything for a squad.
01:59Now, let's talk about the top scorers of the competition.
02:02Hugo Kuypers, the top scorer from Chicago, has just been snatched.
02:07He's at the top of the playlist with 13 goals,
02:11but he has just been snatched by the Mexican football.
02:15Monterrey se lo llevó.
02:17The top scorer.
02:17They're snatching him up.
02:17Because Legovandowski is coming, so there's no room for two goal scorers.
02:20Do you think Legovandowski will cover a player that has been for years
02:25learning this league, knowing how to score, and then we'll see?
02:29You know, we remember Zlatan coming and dominating,
02:31but do you think that Legovandowski is going to have an easy way of that?
02:33I mean, listen, I think those are two very different player personalities, right?
02:37Zlatan has a personality to come and do that.
02:40I don't know that Legovandowski necessarily has that,
02:43and I think, you know, it takes a lot of adjusting.
02:45This is an entirely new league, different player quality,
02:48which I think is going to be a hard adjustment.
02:50I know, obviously, Messi came and he did a phenomenal job,
02:53but you definitely saw.
02:54He was like, why is the game not, you know,
02:56at the same level that it was, obviously, in Barcelona and Europe?
03:00So I think it's going to be an adjustment period,
03:01and I think after that we'll really be able to see.
03:04Now, there's more players that we need to watch for.
03:07One of them is Evander, the top leader in assists for this tournament,
03:11tied with, again, with Sonny Hongsyoun,
03:14that are trying to make their teams shine.
03:17Now, Camila, this is very, very important.
03:20We have upcoming games.
03:22What's coming on this weekend?
03:23Because I know we have a lot going down.
03:26Friday, New York City versus Toronto.
03:28Give me a prediction.
03:30Right on the spot.
03:30Oof, New York City.
03:32New York City.
03:32New York City.
03:33New York City.
03:34New York City.
03:34Now, Cincinnati, a top team,
03:37versus San Jose that is in the middle of a revival with Bruce Arena.
03:40But as of late,
03:41they have not been able to really stream some positive results.
03:45I'm going to go for San Jose,
03:46because I think if you take a look at earlier in the season,
03:49they were...
03:49Visiting San Jose, Cincinnati, that's a top one.
03:51Listen, I think earlier they gave a lot of results
03:54that I was not expecting,
03:55so maybe they can, you know,
03:56re-harness that energy going into this second half of the season.
