Future References To From Dusk Till Dawn ('96) In Fred Williamson Film The New Barbarians ('83)

While recently viewing 1983 post apocalyptic Italian action film, The New Barbarians (alternative title: Warriors Of The Wasteland), I spotted some possible future reference to the '96 Quentin Tarantino / Robert Rodriguez directed From Dusk Till Dawn.   - Fred Williamson played bar patron Frost in "Dusk" & the warrior Nadir in The New Barbarians ('83).  - Giancarlo Prete (credited as Timothy Brent) plays Scorpion. I thought this perhaps a future nod to director Robert Rodriguez's Mariachi / Manito character played by Antonio Banderas in Desperado ('95) & Once Upon A Time In Mexico ('03). He wears a jacket with a with a scorpion embroidered on the back. - "Double Bubble" - This was a phrase Cheech Marin used in 1978 comedy Up In Smoke when he picks up hitchhiker Chong dressed as a woman. Cheech played several Characters in vampire crime film "Dusk".  I thought a nod to this line may be shown in "Barbarians" in the form of an enemy car which is frequently shown with double transparent domes on the roof.
