Classic comedic western, retired Captain Oren Hayes of the Texas Rangers takes a break to visit his daughter in a neighboring town. When he arrives he finds his daughter Hannah's husband Jeff is running for Mayor against the corrupt town boss, Nard Lundy. So the retired captain re-assembles his former Ranger outfit from the old days to fight crime in town. The other surprise in the cast is Gypsy Rose Lee, looking radiant as ever, although her part is much too short.
