00:00From the beginning, we were taught to, you know, Jonah, Graham, and I, and Todd Howard talked about how we
00:06wanted to handle that and kind of the feeling that we had was like, you know, our show takes place
00:11about 15 years after the events of the game, and we sort of imagine it's like a fog of war
00:15situation where we want to make sure that we've honored all players' experiences, where we're not saying like, oh, the
00:21ending you remember from the game, that didn't happen, that's not true, that would suck.
00:25So what we tried to do is instead have like, you know, which I think would be true of the
00:30wasteland, is that history depends on who you ask.
00:33Like what actually happened? Who controls the Hoover Dam? Well, maybe that depends on where you are in the wasteland,
00:38who you're asking, which faction they're associated with, what they believe went down, like everyone has their own story, right?
00:43So we tried to basically not contradict any ending and just say that, hey, like it takes place quite a
00:53bit later.
00:54Many things have unfolded since the events of the games. Some factions might not be around anymore. Some might be
01:01exactly the same.
01:01Some might have tweaked a bit in ways that you may or may not recognize. I mean, fans probably saw
01:06what happened to some of those kings in the trailers.
01:09So, yeah, we're excited for fans to see where we took it and we come at it always as fans
01:15of the games and this world and we try to honor that.
01:18But we also feel like it wouldn't be truthful at all to have that like, hey, 15 years later, everything
01:23is exactly as it was the second you stopped playing the game New Vegas that was set 15 years earlier.
01:29It's like we're not doing like a time capsule. So that is why there's inherently going to be some changes
01:33and I just hope that fans like where we took it.
01:38So, yeah.
